No, it’s the innovators. Complainers are back seat drivers who enjoy the fruits of the labour of doers. It's the complainers of the world who bring about change.

Not complainers, people who provide valued feedback. Constant complainers are easily dismissed by those who can actually enact change. Those who provide informed, proactive, balanced feedback are valued by those who can impact change.Wrong.
The innovators hear the complaints and then they act upon them. They note the flaws and faults that others are pointing out.
How many inventors have come up with products or systems that have superseded ones that people complained about?
The answer is sh*t loads.

And... you’re wrong, ner!
Absolutely, except when it is excessive (Jezz) and is dismissed as meaningless rhetoric. Complaining usually illicits an immediate solution, feedback illicits a long term, considered response.Complaining is feedback.
Complaining also isn't a negative thing. Can be highly positive and productive.
Don't confuse realism with pessimismBut, you are not a part of the culture change process, just a constantly disgruntled supporter.
In my world, having a growth mindset is crucial but the process of actual growth takes time and support. Change is an important part of growth, as is healthy criticism and feedback. Constant negativity inhibits growth as the proponents become less likely to chance change for fear of excessive criticism.
You display constant criticism which makes you surplus to a growth mindset.
No, based on a weight of evidence, you are pessimistic. Embrace it or stop it, your call.Don't confuse realism with pessimism
Saw the article hard to know money correct some source say 750 over five years front ended -- so maybe 900 900 then 600 550 550 -- which is fair given we have to get him to come and we have cash -- plus he a better kick than shiel he cost two firsts 4 million 4 years -- what ribbon say about thatJust read big article online in HS by Robbo, which will be in morning paper. He criticises our club for what he say is "panic buying" for offering up $900k over 5 yrs for Williams, who he uses a Jack Dyer term "he's a good ordinary player". He said that sort of money is what elite players only or AA players get, and Williams is certainly not elite. Has a crack at who was responsible for this "dumbfounded" decision, saying it could cause trouble with other players in the team. I tend to agree about the amount offered, and in some respects the article itself. (Can't download article cause it's behind pay wall.) Maybe someone who knows how can try?
For info......

Footy's a tough gig.'They' is the AFL, they decide the rules about list numbers.
You don't have a lot of empathy for people who might be losing their jobs
I / We on the Richmond board dont want to lose him and 99% Want him signed up which is very unusual on the Richmond board but you dont get many 22 year olds that have shown what he has specially at a later pick (not saying you cant but its rare maybe 1 -2 a year after pick 20)Geez thanks for the insight, I knew the boy could play but didn't realize what attributes he actually offered. Would you as a Tigers supporter be okay with losing him for a second rounder? Or, do you think he is crucial to your team structure?
I think we do have a decent contract on the table for him and just a guess would be around the $350k-$400k x 4 yearsWith your ageing midfield why do think you guys aren’t offering him a decent contract?

Lonie seems realistic
Hunt would be fighting with Honey for a spot
Richmond won’t let Higgins go

Yep, cause 41 is a Good ordinary playerThe same Mark Robinson had Williams at 41 in his top 50 ahead of guys like Petracca, Treloar, McCluggagge
So he wrote it in the morning?he is a biased duffle coat wearing drunk, and that was a seven can effort from him
I would for Kemp![]()
Why do I have that new Maccas monopoly ad in my head where those two blokes scream like bitches in front of their girlfriend when they see a instep head. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarrrgghh!!!Question.
When Casboult moves out of the 22 (most likely next year when Charlie is back) who plays the 2nd ruck position?
I can’t see us playing both TDK & Pitt along with Charlie, Harry & Gov + JSOS.
The obvious candidate is Harry but the club has seemed reluctant as yet to put him in the ruck for 5min a quarter. If so do we go the smaller avenue similar to bulldogs and Dunkley?
1 player I actually thought who could be decent for this would be McGov. Has the strength and leap to be able to provide a chop out, and this is one way he could actually benefit the team

Exactly, needs to take a long hard look at his club and the position they're in, and the people that have put them in that position before he starts potting other clubs. Actually can't believe he's questioning some of our list decisions, Jake Stringer anyoneRobbo
Surely we are not really giving that oxygen thief any attention whatsoever?
He's a pathetic excuse for a journalist.
We don't care what idiots on Bay 13 have to say about our club, Robbo is no better. He's an Essendon fanboi who wouldn't know the first thing about list building, contracts etc.
He has one job: to sell papers. And the best way to sell papers is to be controversial and put utter trash out in the public domain.
It's not even worth reading what he has to say, just as it's not worth wasting time listening to Kane Cornes.
