Cant say I have watched Spargo closely. Was taken at pick 29 by the Dees so you would expect a second rounder to return should he be interested in a switch. Would love Jack Higgins from Richmond. Cant see it happening though

I would have taken Higgins instead of O'Brien. Said so at the time. Still would.

Was a fan of Hunt a couple of years ago. Haven't followed him closely enough to know his recent progress but someone I'd be in favor of adding - his speed would add value to any line and has intensity.

Hunt is similar to Cunners, blistering speed, accurate goalkicker, but just doesn't get enough of the ball and goes missing for periods of the game.

I posted a reply to one of your posts. Some unnamed mod deleted it. Were you that mod? If it wasn’t you who was it? I want to lodge an official complaint about the deletion. To whom do I lodge it?

If I may, you can PM any of the Carlton mods at any time. If you are unsure which mod performed an action, you should include all 4 of us in your PM. The mod list for any forum is at the top of the forum. In this case it is myself, Aphrodite, Jeremias and BlueGum.

If you do not get the satisfaction you seek, you may then escalate to an admin by using the 'contact us' tab at the bottom of the page. Alternatively, a moderator can invite a super mod or admin in to a conversation if they wish to.

These things shouldn't play out in public as it only invites negative comments about the complaining poster OR moderators as a whole and it isn't really the place for it.

Maybe hold off trading future picks. 2021 is looking to be a bumper draft. All the Vic boys who didnt get a look in this year due to not being to play will swell the ranks.

I mean, unless its for someone like Merret or similar id be holding onto the future picks.

So 4 cuts for us and an opportunity to add another Cat B, assuming Owies can stay on that list for a third season.

We've already cut 3 from the senior list and 2 have retired. We are elevating Gibbons to the senior list, so that makes the 4 senior cuts we are required to make. Williams coming means 1 more cut to be made. We have to make 3 selections in the draft, but one can be the elevation of Gibbons so only 2 required there. That makes 3 senior cuts still to go plus one each for any further pick for player trades or FAs.

Still some carnage to come folks.

Could Cuningham play in defence? Has he ever been tried there? If he can defend as well as using his natural speed to attack, he would be an real asset to the team. Should be tried in pre-season trials.

He has been tried there, but not under Teague

When Cuners did play there, I felt he struggled to determine when to go, prop or peel

I struggle to understand why Teague won't play him as a run with type(not full on tagger) then he can use his burst and strength from a stoppage

Apologies for quoting myself, but further to this, let's assume we are going to bring in at least 2 more trades. The grapevine is talking about Silvagni and Kennedy being traded and if we have to make roster cuts, I'd say these players might jump at offers rather than be cut. Any player outside of our top 10-12 players might choose to do so.

We are obviously holding back for getting something back in trades, but it seems that the likes of Polson, Macreadie, Stocker, LOB and Dow are the only other players with doubts surrounding them in terms of opportunity at the moment.

We are light on for defensive depth because Marchbank can't stay on the park. It seems foolish to let Macreadie go for nothing based on that. The fact that Moore wasn't cut is very concerning. We don't need to cull our rookie list and he has no value to other clubs so someone has opted to keep him. I'd rookie Macreadie and cut Moore personally. We are keeping C Curnow, McGovern, McKay, Casboult, TDK and Kemp who can also play taller up forward. Why do we need Moore for backup there?
