Who?Ya talk about Simmo being a poor decision maker by foot, then talk up the past tense of Say. From what I've seen his disposal by foot ain't always that good.

Will Brodie from the Suns could be available apparently. Big bodied midfielder. Would be cheap too Thoughts everyone ?

We don't want B grade players, we've already got plenty of those. We need A graders. Now is the time. Will Brodie from the Suns could be available apparently. Big bodied midfielder. Would be cheap too Thoughts everyone ?
I'm not a huge fan but he does have Carlton bloodlines. Nephew of former rover Andrew Phillips.Tom Phillips on the wing, folks? Some questionable decision making at times but fantastic runner and competitor. Could be a contract victim at Collingwood and could be a solid pick up for 400-450k.

For sure. We have little run off half back as it is and Saad provides good run and a good long kick. Saad has finished top 3 in the scums BandF the last 3 years so he is a long way ahead of Willo and Newman. We have just had Simmo depart and I’d really like to get SPS out of the back 6, I’d also like to see Willo on the wing.It sounds like zac williams might be on a wing, so do we still need a running half back? im not so 100% sold on saad, is he an upgrade on williamson? Saad has speed but how is one on one defending?
Please dont overstate my capabilitiesyou can do it.......
Phillips would be a great get. Played out of position this year but last year's form as a winger was very good. Seems like a good person, too.
I thought it was reported on here today that Saad had already recommitted to * ?Newman Jones Plowman
Docherty Weitering Saad
Walsh Cripps Williamson
SPS Curnow Martin
TDK McKay Betts
Pittonet Williams Setterfield
Gibbons Ed Fisher Murphy
Here is how I see our set up with Saad and Williams.
Saad to push Williamson to the wing.
Newman coming back, will free up SPS to play a high HF.
Williams I think will be used as an inside mids to add speed out of the clearance.
Pass I think. He's been in the system a few years now and has done pretty well nothing that I'm aware of.Will Brodie from the Suns could be available apparently. Big bodied midfielder. Would be cheap too Thoughts everyone ?
We saw your 'capabilities' in Boogie Nights. Not sure it can be overstated. Please dont overstate my capabilities
I haven't seen that anywhereI thought it was reported on here today that Saad had already recommitted to * ?
Imo they have the worst head coach of all time excluding interims.I understand the appeal for Taranto, but what's happened to the highly-touted GWS mids? They can't kick goals.
I wanted Coniglio last year because I saw him as a genuine goal-kicking mid but -
Coniglio - 5/16, Hopper - 1/17, Caldwell - 1/9, Hately - 0/6, Green - 1/6, Ward 3/7, Kelly 5/14 so Total Midfield = 18 goals from 8 players over 75 games.
What a terrible outcome for this highly lauded midfield collective.
Our little Walsh kicked more than for any of these players named, with 8 goals. Cripps kicked 7 and 45 misses. What are they doing over there?
fair few left gws as well....which of those are playing good footy in their respective teams? steel, treloar....others?I understand the appeal for Taranto, but what's happened to the highly-touted GWS mids? They can't kick goals.
