Such a crazy year, i was looking at the schedule and starting pitchers and so many teams have named only 1 starting pitcher thus far (and some havent named game 1 starter yet)

Would not pitch Carrasco tomorrow

If you are going to get swept get beaten throwing your two best out there

Braves win 1-0 in 13 innings. Both starting pitchers dominated and some pretty ordinary batting from both sides. Even worse base running by the Reds who had plenty of chances to score and don't take their chances.

Twins playoff losing streak now at 18! Got the softest opponent from the regular season and flamed out.

A’s nearly blow it. 5-2 up with Sox two out no one on base top of 9th. Hendricks leaves bases loaded, Diekman walks a run in. Anyway manage to tie up the series

* me that was a tough way to close out a game.

Oakland nearly blew a 5 run lead in the 8th/9th.

Hendricks was sent out to get the last 6 outs, but only managed 5 in about 60 pitches, had them down to the last strike a few times too, but a few hits then all of a sudden the go ahead run at the plate.

Knockout games haven't been kind, but glad we could close this one out and avoid a Twins size losing streak.

Back to do it all again tomorrow.

Jim Folk now says weather should improve shortly—he was ignored by baseball who ordered game to start at 7:50pm local. Folk is on site per local play by play
