Swingers are great, flexibility to be used at either end.


In all seriousness, would be good for us to have a player that gave us that flexibility that the coaching box could make changes depending on the state of the game.

Tex used to float in the back half when needed. Vaguely remember him saving us from defeat in a game v Dons at Footy park.

Betts should retire immediately and take a farewell game. Carlton did him a favour by giving him a homecoming. He started the season well but really faded into obscurity as the season went on. Carlton need to bring in young talent. Already Adelaide have a list with more upside than Carlton and Carlton have been rebuilding for 5 years. Betts needs to take a leaf out of Gibbs book and retire with dignity.

To be honest, with the state of the world at the moment its actually a stupid thing for Port to do.

You dont know what may happen in the next few weeks. I dont disagree with what your saying, but you just never know in the world's current environment what may happen?

What if say 10 Port players test positive to Covid, that plus injuries, it would be all hands on deck??

Nope, he didn’t know Big Footy existed until last year or so when I showed him the classic “most boring AFL players encounters” thread. I’d think that Big Footy is more something Will Goodings would be all over given his other sports gigs.
