Looks like Patton’s done an Achilles
Apparently a calf.

Hawks look cooked now. And just as I type that Hawks look like getting one back

Of course it is not the reason, but it's simplisitic to think a season full of four day breaks, no contact training sessions, short quarters, long periods in isolation or staying for long periods of time away from home can be compared it to a regular 22 round season.

As every single public figure has said in the last few months, these are unprecedented times.

We are obviously terrible, in the context of these circumstances. That is undeniable.

If you want to compare this unprecendented season to any other time, you're going to fail though. Next year, if we have a 22 round season and we still are winless, then we will be comapring apples and apples.

In the meantime, it is completely unknowable.

It's a bit rich accusing others of being overly simplistic when your post boils down to a wordier version of "it's all a muddle really, i dunno *shrugs*".

Every single season is conducted in its own unique circumstances, whether that's the result of material developments, technological advances etc. But each team within a season is subjected to those experiences. We're not the only team impacted upon by covid, they all are. There is no real reason why we cannot discuss our performance relative to our competition against teams from previous years relative to theirs. It may not be the most enlightening subject at the best of times, but it's certainly not stupider now.

We were the worst prepare to deal with COVID-19 of all clubs given the external review and what happened after that review and the AFL will usually give the team at the lower end of the ladder the worst fixture, hence we had to fly into GC early morning and played on the same afternoon with limited break between game a few time already this season......the AFL own us a band 1 FA compensation.

We were the worst prepared because we substantially maladministered our club for years, and failed to move quickly enough on the repair work, therefore it's unfair to us?

Hawthorn have hit a brick wall.

Well they didn't know it was worst than expected after the 2017 Grand Final, hence the external independent review and the fixture has been very unfair to us but it's understandable as the AFL is trying to get the season done.

The fixture that has given us more games at home than most clubs, including our ladder leading cross town rivals?

Lol Wingards first move even in a normal tackle is to duck his head.....

Seriously worried about Ricciuto after his even weirder than usual comments from the boundary today, sounds like the ramblings of a sleep deprived madman
