My brother lost interest in footy yeara ago but with lockdown he started borrowing my kayo acct and been watching Geelong games (they were his team when he was a kid and he lives down on the coast)

After watching his first couple of games in years he asks me "how many players are out?" - i told him officially none are

He was flabbergasted - the number of players dont line up that there is none
It's ridiculous that they still don't feel comfortable enough to come out now.

I feel for those guys.

The Suns playing like we did in the first 12 rounds.

Garbage and I'd almost say another year wasted.

They've been a lot more competitive, but they've lacked polish to get a few extra wins they probably should've had. I do feel they're heading in the right direction though.

Early in the year, their distinguishing characteristic was manic full-ground pressure: this won them games and kept them competitive in games even when they were outplayed. That has gone completely now, and you see that the result is losses. On the other hand, we have found that pressure since the North game, and are winning a few. The moral is clear! On the other hand, the underlying skill level for both teams is not great.

Hence a big deal for Atkins... ;)
