Was it massive overs? I don’t think pick 6 was on the tableEssendon the bigger idiot. Got of got rid him getting massive overs.

I’m sure I read after the trade period ended pick 6 wasn’t on the table“My belief is, and strong belief is, currently as we sit right now the offer from the Sydney Swans to Essendon is a first and a second-round draft pick,” he told Telstra AFL Trade Radio.
“Their first pick is pick five and their second round is 25. So that is currently the offer the Swans have put to Essendon and it is a flat no.

Was it a first they expected to get from Carlton for Papley?I’m sure I read after the trade period ended pick 6 wasn’t on the table

Dodoro got greedy. He is incredibly overrated.Wasn't it Essendon wanting the world for him?

Who is more injury prone, Andrew McPherson or Harley Bennell? Both these dudes have to be in the top 5 most injury prone AFL players for sure.
Ouch!
Yeah for sure. He's a great player to watch when he gets going. Last time I saw him play feels like a lifetime ago.Problematic hammies aren’t unheard of among the younger age groups.. Can’t remember a set of calves as bad as Harley’s at his age. Normally it’s the 30+ brigade that can’t shake calf complaints. Hope he comes good. Obviously didn‘t mind the odd party earlier, but seems to have worked hard to get back on the deck at Freo and now for another crack with another club. I hope he gets there and punches out 100 more games at the level that he’s capable of.

Have to wonder whether genetics plays any part with injury prone players. It just seems weird to me that a guy can be so well built and yet seemingly made of glass. I also wonder whether certain players just don't know their own limits and push their bodies too hard.Would be a great story and well deserved. Our closest similar story is Otten with his 2 knees. But ACLs are pretty much black and white, get surgery, prep for 12 months and go again. Constant and inexplicable soft tissue breakdown is another level of frustration to my mind.
How much is senior ''fitness '' people pushing a previously uninjured kid too quickly?Have to wonder whether genetics plays any part with injury prone players. Problem is how do you develop a kid for AFL properly if you're going to wrap him in cotton wool? Even with specially modified programs, with all the running and contact drills they have to do, it would be hard task preventing injuries. I think an unfortunate but necessary part of this business is that injuries sort the wheat from the chaff. There is sort of a darwinian element to it. Regardless of talent, either you have a body that can handle the rigors of AFL or you don't.How much is senior ''fitness '' people pushing a previously uninjured kid too quickly?
Many many juniors come through a system with very little injury concerns yet once they hit the senior system they develop injuries. Might be time to look at employing senior physiologists to develop programs for players
