A player is worth as much as a club is willing to accept for him.
Saad is a decent HB flanker. Wouldn’t even have him in the top 10 in the position in the league.
Brown is a current top five KPF based on total career so far.

Do you think Brown is objectively a better and more versatile player than Cameron?
Cameron is a much better sniper on field I'll give him that.

They are different players.Do you think Brown is objectively a better and more versatile player than Cameron?
I hope we see some more "incoming" action by Tuesday.
I'd still like us to bring in at least 1-2 more players.
Better? Yes.
More versatile? No.
Each to their own but I struggle to see how anyone could suggest Brown is/was a better player than Cameron when you consider all things
I think Brown is more likely to lift himself and his side than Cameron. I probably don't watch GWS enough but it doesn't seem like he does. Each to their own but I struggle to see how anyone could suggest Brown is/was a better player than Cameron when you consider all things

What things? You haven't answered my question why Cameron is better?
And don't say versatile because that's bullshit. They are just different types.
Brown is a one-dimensional lead up, mark, kick goal type forward. He's very good when the system caters to him but struggles otherwise. He applies very little forward pressure and isn't good when the ball hits the deck. He's not agile around the ground or dominant in the air and is limited to playing inside 50m which limits the game plan his team can employ (only really works with quick ball movement which is risky).
He kicked as many goals as he did for us because of the ridiculous amount of times he was targeted compared to the rest of the the comp.
Cameron regularly roams higher up the ground and can play as a link between the 50's. In addition to this he's very dangerous inside 50m due to his athletic ability in the air and when the ball hits the ground.
You would choose Cameron because he has a lot more tactical flexibility.
If you just wanted an old fashioned hit up FF, you would take Brown.

Short memories on Brown's ability when fit and at his best.
The only advantage Cameron has is when the ball hits the ground. That's it.
As for the rest of it. Rubbish. It just means they are 2 different types. One ventures outside the 50 and the other stays closer to the goals.
Brown does things better than Cameron that offsets his lack of impact when ball hits the ground.
