When they signed Mayne, Wells, Varcoe and Dunn to fat contracts you would have thought that was pure desperation and that would have been the end of both of them.

Fortunately for all, they made the 2018 GF and signed De Goey and the likes of Treloar to 2025 and Grundy to 2027.More importantly Bucks himself who like Scott and Hardwick (at the time) were the longest serving coaches to do jack and how they all got renewed is right up there with Bomber Thompson.

Even more fortunate was the Dom Sheed goal started by a passage of play by yet another McGovern intercept mark.
