Don't worry, we were saying the same before the finals; the truth is Carlton are massively inferior, and have been for much of the last 20 years.

Failed rebuild after failed rebuild, you knifed your best coach since Parkin and allowed him to help Hawthorn create a dynasty then turn our ship around. You've got 3 or 4 guns and a whole lot of garbage. Carlton are imposters, so much so that your coach looks like he's wearing a disguise.

You'll continue to struggle to even be adequate for another generation and you know it. Your club had to cheat the system to succeed, the Blues are just here to make up the numbers nowadays.

We've smelt what you've been cooking, it's flipping foul and probably riddled with salmonella too.

Both McEvoy and Ceglar are over 29 so they will need replacements soon.

But Preuss is already 25 and by the time they fix the rest of their list to be competition again, will be close to 30.

Just seems ignorant to their list profile to be bringing in more mid aged players.

Hawks have plenty of problems, from memory the worst for clearances in the comp. They've spent a lot for such poor return, Mitchell, O'Meara and Ceglar too, is a part of that problem.
Preuss may not be the best choice, but who is?
Hawks desparate for big men forward of centre too, Preuss seems to be an improvement on what they have.

As I posted before, North are sh*t, but at least a safe version. It's ghetto but all the citizens are upstanding. Essendon is more like skid row, or some housing estate full of junkies and gangs.

Kangaroos are not a lot better though. They'll be sure to achieve nothing until they get a proper coach, the worst thing that could happen for them is Shaw winning a few games as caretaker and fooling the club that he was competent. He's not innovative like GT was or has a strategy like Lyon, I'm not sure what he is good at apart from rousing the troops. The club recruited Polec & Shittard, the latter has already been delisted and they've dangled the former for a trade and received no interest. There's nothing enticing for an incoming player - no great coach, a sh*t area, boring history, their greatest player is a woman bashing cad, they've got half a handful of good players - in short an ultra-vanilla version of us in our deepest depths...

...but Essendon is like the above but with all the kids on meth and all the good people moved away or got shot. A confusing coaching message, a big F U to retiring club favourite, a toxic board and scandalous recent history, a notoriously terrible atmosphere and senior players leaving all over the place.

I hate both clubs and with another personal enemy Carlton also dithering between average and incompetent, and traditional bullies Adelaide, Sydney and Hawthorn finally experiencing rare downturns, Melbourne and Bulldogs failing yet again and of course the Saints flying, it's fair to say that I am loving AFL at the moment, long may it continue in this vein!

It's more like Norf is that underachieving kid that you just know is at his capacity to learn and build, so you just learn to accept his mediocrity and don't blame him because hes never really had the tools and stability to get better, so you just accept it and let him go.

Essendons more like the spoiled kid that always got what he wanted, and he even built up a reputation for being a strong, independent boy, although it was all just a charade. Hes eventually found out for who he is, is disgraced and fails to fire in the years after. His lives in the shadows of his poor decisions, while lamenting how he could have done so much more with the tools he had.


And that is why Essendon are the bigger rabble

Your blues have a vomit culture of trying to buy the best players/coaches and not Work hard to build a great list. Moneybags did it for you in the 90s but since that has been taken away you have been an absolute rabble.
Always looking for the quick fix because you think you deserve to be a good club but not willing to work hard for it.

The Blues have been THE worst performing team over the last 25 years by a long long long way. You should be embarrassed to say you support the blues but for some reason blues supporters never are....which is just more evidence as to why sheer arrogance has kept your team on the bottom for so long.

And last I heard, half back flankers don’t win their own ball in the centre. How long you think Cripps has before his body gives up..?
