Look at all those east Fremantle Midwest shark packs including 15 year old Hagan dominating.Another Solid game by Sam Alvarez on the weekend.
"#13 Samuel Alvarez
Yet another Fremantle Dockers Next-Generation Academy member, Alvarez was excellent on the wing for the Tigers. His link-up play between the defence and offence was very good, and his decision-making with ball in hand was excellent. He finished with 24 possessions, four inside 50s, three marks and two tackles."
I went to that game and was also impressed with East Freo's Brandon Walker and it's great Freo have the first dibs on him. Looks ready made to me.
Apologies if this link has already been posted.
Game report:
How hard would it be to tell western & Walker to say we will definitely pick you up in the 4th & 5th rounds..
Have some down time.
Or tell those eastern Staters you get home sick easily.
Must admit I read that article this morning and didn't post it here because it was way over the top positive about player performances. Every one was excellent or exceptional or prolific.Another Solid game by Sam Alvarez on the weekend.

I thought Jack Carroll was exceptional. I thought Hagan belied his 15 years of age. I thought BWalker was composed and classy when he had the ball. I thought Haddow played a pretty flawless game for a defender.
No disrespect to the author as I've found myself doing it at times as well.
You are probably right on that. I did notice a Journo in the old stand feverishly taking notes. There were also a couple of old blokes whom I suspect were scouts also note taking. Both had team lists with a few names highlighted. Not stalking, we were sitting next to them!
Joel Western was the only one I could make outAnd the highlighted names were?
You know themAnd the highlighted names were?
We've been talking about them throughout this thread. You know themWe've been talking about them throughout this thread.
Has anyone stopped to look at the hit rate at the draft since 2016, at the moment, its some pretty impressive looking drafting, though I suppose things always look best the year or two after a draft.

Walker is very close to his twin and Western is a mummy’s boy. LolHow hard would it be to tell western & Walker to say we will definitely pick you up in the 4th & 5th rounds..

Seems like Haddow is rapidly improving.Must admit I read that article this morning and didn't post it here because it was way over the top positive about player performances. Every one was excellent or exceptional or prolific.

They both have really clingy girlfriends that are heavy into the social scene in Perth and they are pretty much married to them already.Walker is very close to his twin and Western is a mummy’s boy. Lol
Wasn't even considering it earlier in the year but we could do a lot worse than him as a Cat B. Think Covid might screw up his opportunity though. Same with Chris Walker.Seems like Haddow is rapidly improving.
Rumour is one of the girlfriends is pregnant and needs a strong family network around her. They both have really clingy girlfriends that are heavy into the social scene in Perth and they are pretty much married to them already.
I was joking but this may actually be true for Western (not the clingy part)
I’m in Melbourne, so hasn’t seen any of them play.Wasn't even considering it earlier in the year but we could do a lot worse than him as a Cat B. Think Covid might screw up his opportunity though. Same with Chris Walker.
Have heard Brandon owes money to a bikie gang in Victoria.Rumour is one of the girlfriends is pregnant and needs a strong family network around her.
Western has a restraining order on an ex who lives in Melbourne.Have heard Brandon owes money to a bikie gang in Victoria.
Probably not any left fielders from those two teams. Finn Gorringe or Owan Dann (both East Freo) are two names that are unlikely to have come up here that are hopefuls. I'm doubtful either get drafted. The normal names I expect was wondering if left field names
I’m going to hate myself. Colin Young’s son seems to look good stat wise.Probably not any left fielders from those two teams. Finn Gorringe or Owan Dann (both East Freo) are two names that are unlikely to have come up here that are hopefuls. I'm doubtful either get drafted.
West Perth would be a more likely place to find a left field draft option. Think Kellen Johnson is back from injury playing this weekend for instance.
Anything left field from Freo won't be in WA imo. A bit easier to fly under the radar over East atm.
