Agree. That's where I became aware of him. Quick, creative and can kick a freakish goal.

Too vanilla and doesnt have a point of difference?

Can see him only being able to play midfield and its hard to compete with the level of player in there for an AFL spot. Also seems like a pretty well developed kid with limited scope for improvement.

You'd have worse players on AFL lists though

Wasted the breeze in the first by going agonisingly slow and indirect out of defence and then leaking goals on the turnover. Surely that wasn’t their instructions when going with the breeze but it set the scene early.

Apart from when Western has some space they've hardly played their normal game style at all today. Worst game I've seen from them all year and I watched them get smashed by East Freo a few weeks ago. Think they came in thinking they'd get the job done against Subi like they did a fortnight ago...

Really hard to find effective players for Claremont. Subi have dominated with a really good and even team effort. Perhaps Laine? Hogan’s been good. Avery, Gowdie and Western ok.

Vanirsen BOG but there were plenty of very good Subi players.

When you get battered like that hard to pick out good performers.

The commentator made a good point about them having only 2 games in 4 weeks not being ideal and probably didn’t help.

A smart smaller midfielder not unlike Luke English and Callan England from a few years back. His size and lack of athleticism hurt him for that next step although a club might look at him for that high forward role that Snelling and Gibbons currently play. He certainly has the workrate for it.
