Disappointing result, was hoping Essendon would win.

Hopefully Brisbane smash the Dogs next week, it will be harder for the umpires to favour them with a Brisbane home crowd but no doubt they'll try.

Is it really a surprise this result though? Essendon overachieved and have only beaten 1 team in the top 8 this year, which was bulldogs a few weeks ago.

Essendon got screwed by the umpires but when they couldn't kick a goal for the entire 2nd half they only have themselves to blame for losing.

I don't even really care how they lose, so long as it happens. If umps are involved, all the better I guess.

Correct. But the club that employed all the perpetrators is still allowed to operate. I'll be satisfied as long as they are forever hopeless and kept on as a Washington Generals type team like Carlton.
