I don't necessarily care what Port wear, but from a Collingwood point of view, totally get it.

I've always looked at it like, if Freo decided, after agreeing not to when entering the AFL, that they wanted to embrace some WAFL club called the Crows and wear the hoops, with our colours/design and that's even though we didn't exist before the 90's, there is no way I'd want our admin to give it their blessing.

I wouldn't want Fremantle cheapening our jumper by wearing it twice a year.

Port would have no problems wearing black and white OR vertical stripes... not both.

I have a very soft spot for the Eagles and also envy them and proud of them for years. They really kicked it up the arse of the Victorians.

This was solidified by Woosha coaching us and the manner in which the Eagles supporters truly got behind us when we played them post-Walsh in that first game back.

Some may say big deal? Let me either remind you or tell you, that our neighbours, would not even allow the Showdown Medal to be named after Phil Walsh a few weeks later to acknowledge his contribution to both Clubs. When this happened I stopped posting on the Port board, I said never again.

You do know why Kochie and Port Power are making a fuss about this don't you? It's because the Port Power reserve side in the SANFL will no longer exist and all AFL franchises (including us and Port Power) will have their reserve side play in an AFL reserve competition so he just wants to see as winning something before this happens.
