Ouch... 32% ($18.65m) decline in revenue. They did extremely well to cut costs by 31% ($17.86m), to only come out with a $279K operating loss for the year. Considering the year that was 2020, I think Port's management would be very happy with that result.PAFC Statement – 2020 financial result

*** How TF did they cut operating costs by almost $18m? I assume Adelaide did something similar. Staggering the number of people in the AFL industry who must have lost their jobs in the last 12 months.

Sounds like expect similar results league wide, honestly if Covid messes this season up again the league in general is surely in big trouble

Port one of the last to release and from what I can tell, the second worst results behind Sydney.
We are still yet to release. Good thing we have a CEO who is renown for his commercial acumen ...

AFL got something right for a change. VIC teams now have to train in groups of 10, but, by implication, the rest of us can be normal.

More debt and they've won zilch.
But they sell hope, and spin narratives which is more than their last useless duds did. I still remember them parading the VIP guy to a 75% empty Footy Park like it was a big deal.

Finally sanity prevails.AFL got something right for a change. VIC teams now have to train in groups of 10, but, by implication, the rest of us can be normal.
BigFooty bitching may have had some effect, or not.
But you would imagine there will plenty of Victorians clubs training with extra numbers which will be ignored by Vic media and VFL Operations.
