Only read a few of his books but I found that when he drifts in to the fantasy supernatural bits they are easily the weakest parts of them. Stuff like the real life interactions between the characters are actually his strength.He's written fantastic books that aren't horrors.
He's just a brilliant story teller. Stand by me was the best.

I seem to miss them a bit this year. Cause we've had Thursday night and Sunday night games.I feel like I havent see Geelong (TV or otherwise) play for aaaages.

Ahh no shit. I saw a movie called The Leaving of Liverpool about that exact same thing.Young kids deported from England were promised "Oranges and Sunshine" when they went to Australia, but instead were chucked in homes, suffered abuse, etc.
