I was listening to the weather report on the radio this morning. Showers later this afternoon it said, as I was driving through reasonably heavy rain at 7am

But is this Biden administration the most corrupt in US history? Probably.
During a global pandemic where low and middle income Americans are struggling.
And 3 days before the Cop26 (a greenwashing parade btw sponsored by many of those who pollute the most),
Nancy Pelosi who got (even more) rich from insider trading before the pandemic just officiated over an Oil Barron families wedding.

I don't really see it as a progressive vs conservatives thing.
Each government just gets more corrupt than the last over time.
As corporations grow stronger and increase their power over politicians.
Natural progression.

After he screwed american oil (that was self sufficient and didn’t need to rely on heavy carbon emitting oil tankers to drag oil half way across the world) in a pathetically poor way to show they want to reduce emissions.

The whole climate reduction thing is just a pathetic shifting of numbers to be seen to be doing something. How can importing oil from the middle east be better for the environment than pumping it from american oil fields? It’s a joke.

All while china is building 35 new coal powered power plants that will wipe out whatever savings most of the world will create.

The new green deal they were trying to push basically killed off any fossil fuel investment. Now oil prices are soaring, people are pissed and the biden government is at record low popularity. Biden actually grovelled back to the oil producers to bring prices down. Of course they told him to gtfo.

But seriously, what did they think was going to happen here? You can’t just switch oil off overnight with no plan on how to replace it. It’s madness. But i’m sure they can find a way to blame white supremisists.
