Do a postal vote, it’s so much easier.....Have done that ever since I turned 18 & it saves having to leave the house.

I normally do the early voting as there's normally minimal lines and they no longer ask why you can't vote on the day

Did that once when my anxiety was bad. Have gone in to vote ever since though.

Sorry to hear about your anxiety , and yea in the end it’s completely up to the individual... I’m the only one in my family who goes postal, just did it off the bat & now it’s just the way I vote ....I do like to take my time & give the preferences where I see fit, so it helps with not feeling pressured to get in & out too quick also.

The LNP are trying to restrict or even abolish early voting as part of an inquiry started last year, because (ostensibly) it's too hard for parties' volunteers to staff the polling places for so long, handing out how to vote cards, etc.
Don't know if the committee has reported yet.

I'll keep my thread on the SRP trolling the people that sit there handing them out.

On that point the joint committee suggested early voting be reduced from 3 week to two, seems reasonable to me.
