I thought all the drive ins closed 30+ years ago.

Never been to one, what's good about it?

Positives:
1. Food. Can pick up pizzas and drinks on the way and take them in.
2. Clothes. Everyone wears their dressing gowns and PJ's so don't have to get dressed up.
3. Choice. If you don't like the movie you just move your car to another screen.
4. Comfort. Get to recline the seats back in the car and put the heater on, or if the kids come put a mattress in the back of the ute.
5. People. Not in a close distance to people you don't know.
Negatives.
1. Sound. You just use the stereo in your car.
2. You may have an uncomfortable car.
