sorry for the intrusion but Reid is stating the absolute facts there. Of course he has probably asked but got short shrift. No chance north would bother with any offers when they can just take Horne Francis and roll with what will be a monster player for you guys for a long time to come. You guys getting him, Coleman-Jones and a few others I would expect next year a sharp rise - maybe not top 8 but not too far off it like I think the crows will also have. It would be great in 3-4 years time to see a rematch of the 98 GF - both sides building great young lists

Ok so I have now read the last 20 pages,

TLDR

we are getting Goldy for pick 1.
We are getting JHF with the pick 1’we just got Goldy for.
We are getting CCJ for the pick 1 we used to get both Goldy and JHF.
We are getting Mitch Wallis as a back up to LDU/Cunners/TT for pick 1 in the PSD.
We are getting a priority pick after our last pick in the draft so pick 102 or some such.
We are getting T Lynch as a coach but he is playing as Taz has left us.
We are giving Taz to the Tuggers with pick 20 for their 4th rounder so they don’t lose the Chol compo.

Does anybody know when we might hear the outcome to our request for a priority/concessional pick?

They normally decide on that stuff before trade period kicks off. I think if we even submitted or were any chance it would be in the media by now. Don’t hold your breath, won’t happen imo.

So the AFL give us pick 103 as a priority (read my post above) and then we on trade our PRIORITY pick to the Tuggers.

Then Caro can come out and say we handed over our PRIORITY pick for CCJ,
Looks good in the media headlines.

Ideally cerra would have nominated Melbourne who don’t have the trade capital and fell through to PSD

blues will just trade pick 6 for cerra plus probably a late pick swap and whatever they get for SPS

So I suppose that would be within the next week or so, so we could possibly use a pick in any trade during trade period.

I am not expecting anything really, but we are there abouts with our last two seasons. The W/L and percentage is appalling, the positive vibe about our future will stay the AFL's hand.
