i'd kill and i do mean seriously kill for Luke Parker

Ratts made it clear we’ve targeted a few players from other clubs to bring in over the coming months. Nothing ground breaking there but interesting that there’s still a desire to bring in mature talent after the last 2 years.
Where did he say that?

To slow and I think to inside. We need a replica of Jones with a slightly better kick or decision making.
Jones is such a frustrating one. I actually think his kicking and decision making is fine for an inside midfielder. He's just so injury prone and inconsistent. If he could play consistent footy and stay on the park for 20 games a year, he'd be a much higher calibre midfielder in the competition.

Not quite big enough for a key defender
I've been super critical of Libba, which bird_man and Winmar2Lockett have rightfully pointed out was a bit too early, especially given the picks he had at his disposal.

this is the first season I've seen some green shoots in that regard and tbh its given me confidence to say, i'd like to see him have a full draft hand for once.

players like Paton, Byrnes, Wilkie, Hind, Highmore and now Sharman want me to see what he can do with a full allotment.

i think we need to give him a solid crack at it and hope he can replicate those selections.
Just load the little campaigner up with with a heap of mid season, rookie and late picks

If we extrapolate Sharman’s 5 game sample out to 22 rounds, he would’ve finished on 53 goals for a debut season. Keep working on your tan Binga..
Or, trade Membrey while has has value, Sharman is our Gunston with 2 Kings as big bananas. Higgins and whichever other small is in form. I likey.

Imagine if they went mids only [emoji15] because of all the talls we had and no need for another KPF
Strange comment considering I was hoping for Schenslong.

My issue came from using a first rounder on a project key forward when he have used bugger all top 30-40 picks on mids, no issue with taking one with a mid season pick.

In Libba I trust though, even if that pick ends up a dud I think he's done extremely well with what he's been given.

I reckon we should keep clavarino for depth, along with joyce, their trade value is non existent anyway. Trade battle for a late second or early third if possible. He's got too many players in front of him.

Our forward line is pretty tall as it is, esp with marshall resting forward, Bing doesn't make sense structurally. If he was keen to play in defence/fill in in the ruck however, that'd be another story. Max is the better forward, or at least will be come next year. Maybe if we traded Membrey Bing would make sense..

There is just not a chance they will trade Membrey. He's contracted, he's a leader, he provides crucial output by kicking 30+ goals every year and is a senior body to help King. He's also finished the year in really strong form with 11 goals in the last four games.
I agree, just floating hypotheticals. We’ve held onto legitimate potatoes for years, I won’t hold my breath for left-field thinking.

Think I agree, I'd probably trade Battle if we get a second rounder. He's a mile back in the queue for the forwardline and he's not a winger. Unless the club see him as a KPD, he is surplus to requirements. I think mismanagement has played a big part, but that's where things are now.

I agree , i can't fit him into our best 22. He's not a winger , but i think Sharman could be, and i don't want Sharman bulking up too much too soon, his agility is too important to risk.
