‘Ginbeys from WA’ sounds like something you caught down the beach. Maybe I should change my username to Blunt Ram (with Ginbeys).I have Ginbeys from WA in my bloodlines. We're probably 20th cousins. On behalf of the family, I'm offended by "blunt axe". Hope he goes well wherever he lands. Don't think it will be with us.
Plays best as a midfielder or high half forward. Had a really nasty corky for his last three games this year and had to play in deeper in the forward line as a lot of posters saw in VM v VC. Development will follow a similar path to Petracca, will play a couple of years as a half forward before getting some on ball time and gradually increasing it.Someone tell me what position Humphrey best plays? Is it forward or mid?
Just seems like another Kemp pick, who to this day can't cement a spot because the club can't make up their mind where he should be playing. Risky pick imo.

Humphrey. Why do they trade? Who are they after so desperately enough to do such a lopsided trade? Don’t see it.
What are you hearing? Will be interested to see if Weat Coast and Gold Coast do a draft night pick swap.
I’m hoping we see a lot more of Kemp Playing AFL games in 2023 - then we will have a much higher rating of Kemp by year’s end![]()
Me neither JD. Not sure who’s going to be best available and best value at our pick.Humphrey for me - other teams can have him. i.e. trade 10 & 29 for two teen picks from either GWS or Sydney
I’m just not sold on Humphrey
Blockhead maybe?‘Ginbeys from WA’ sounds like something you caught down the beach. Maybe I should change my username to Blunt Ram (with Ginbeys).

He has a fair bit going for him, for sure. Just not sure you can categorise him as a slider given his general draft range.Gibney certainly is a blunt axe, that needs to work on his finesse, but with his size, speed, endurance and aggression, able to play multiple positions, I think many clubs will see him as a very good long term prospect that plays early
For rising star punters, get on him early to finish top 5
Has a high floor, and a decent ceiling, a Crisp/Maynard type at the next level
I'm fan of Cowan like the look of him and that right pegMe neither JD. Not sure who’s going to be best available and best value at our pick.
I’ve analysed and studied the 2.53 highlight reels of these kids and I like the look of Hewett and Hustwaite for our team.
I like their highlights, but importantly we’re long overdue for an Elijah and Henry in the team. Get it done SOC (son of curly).
If Gold Coast genuinely want Ginbey, then they wouldn't trade, would they?West Coast traded down for their local talent.
Gold Coast keen on Ginbey (WA's top talent).
I'm wondering whether it's a smoke screen to milk something extra out of West Coast who traded down too low.
If Gold Coast genuinely want Ginbey, then they wouldn't trade, would they?
And after trading back, not sure West Coast would be prepared to cough up much to head back up the order.
Kemp reminds me of Burton who started at hawthorn and is now at port. Taller utility type with good speed who can intercept but also provide run out of defence.

Humphrey is going to bolt up the order.
It sounds like all of Essendon, Gold Coast and Sydney (possible trade up?) are keen, and given the lack of X-factor at the top end he has that as a point of difference.
Like Sheezal he should come in and play as a deep small forward and then develop his midfield craft.
Also seems like the quintessential Dodoro selection, if they’re going to bypass Tsatas.
I can’t see a club telling a player they won’t take him. I call BS. Especially when trying to keep others guessing on who you will be takingRumour on the draft rumours board says we told Busslinger we won't take him. Knightmares phantom draft on ESPN has us taking him....
Agreed. We're in need of a tall defender with OMac off the list. Busslinger is the best in the draft imo. Also I feel like I'm talking to a mirror.I can’t see a club telling a player they won’t take him. I call BS. Especially when trying to keep others guessing on who you will be taking
Agreed, if things goes to plan we should not get a draft pick this high again for a number of yearsDunno exactly whether i should feel this way, as i really haven't seen or done enough digging this year to have a firm view, but i'm hoping we don't get Busslinger, McKenzie or Hewett at 10. Busslinger, i don't think we need enough to spend a pick this high on. McKenzie i just think from what i've seen projects as just a meat and potatoes mid that you don't need to spend such a high pick to attain. And Hewett, i've just seen a sort of selfishness and trying to be the dominant player out there, when he really isn't that. Dunno, but again, think he'll be meat and potatoes at AFL level.
Hoping we can nab Philippou at this stage, but kinda just happy to sit and watch what looks like being an intriguing 1st 30 odd picks. With us shaping up to have 2 or 3 of those.
Not convinced we need a tall defender high in the draft, but if we did, would much prefer Hayes to Busslinger. Although I have questions on both being “enough” defender over interceptor, Hayes has far superior disposal.Agreed. We're in need of a tall defender with OMac off the list. Busslinger is the best in the draft imo. Also I feel like I'm talking to a mirror.
