Obviously not, which is why the poster said that picking up Hayes should be contingent on a medical to ensure that collapse wasn't indicative of an issue that might continue to affect him.
Pretty reasonable take for a spectator, rather than being a smartarse and suggesting just cause he's played lots of footy in the past that it's nothing to worry about.

Every player drafted should be contingent on a medical. It's basic due dilligence and common practice.

Right, so you think a club, all clubs, are waiting for a supporter to suggest it multiple times, before anyone thought that it might be a good idea to do a full physical on Hayes?
What would ease the concern, a copy of the medical report hand delivered to each concerned party?
Perhaps before cherry picking, again, you should to go back to the start of the interaction

I am not a medic but Hayes is 197cm and near the front of the time trial...shows his ability to gut run, unusual for his size

The combine is used by recruiters to do further interviews in the allocated times. They’ve been watching players on the field and talking to coaches, high performance managers etc all year. They already know who is fast and who is fit, don’t read too much into the combine either way guys.

Cowan averages 87% DE and is one of the highest metres gained players in the league. Doesn't sound like an overly accurate description going off his statistics if im being honest. His 20m sprint results are also largely irrelevant, switching from jogging pace to hitting top speed is an entirely different scenario to shifting from a static start over that short a distance. Ed Allan for instance had better results at the combine but its quite clear from any footage or gameplay that Cowan uses his run a lot more often and to greater effect.

Heard Twoomey say he has smashed that particular test multiple times before. I don’t want to spend a high pick on a speculative tall back but, I’m not going to write anyone off after one test.

Not writing him off at all. I see him as a late first/early second round pick. Just think Busslinger is a top 10 prospect in comparison.

I would presume there is a short list of 3-4 players right now, personally be disappointed if we took him ahead of Busslinger & Phillipou if both were still available as l feel we have already focused heavily in recent times on pure mid-fielders.

First, not all medical examinations are the same. Some sort of tests would not be done unless indicated, say by a recent collapse.
Second, I am not suggesting that Lewis is otherwise unfit or unwell, but a collapse does warrant an investigation. Athlete's collapsing is fairly rare, and it's worth checking it's not something.

Oliver Hollands – 183cm Midfield, VICThe Blues are believed to be zeroing in on Hollands with their first pick, given they are keen to bolster their stocks of strong-running midfielders. The boy from Wodonga – who is the brother of Gold Coast’s Elijah Hollands – finished equal-first in the 2km time trial at the national draft combine earlier this month after placing equal-fourth in the YoYo test at the NAB League testing day in March. Hollands has spent a lot of time on a wing this year, where he has found plenty of the ball and makes good decisions. However, he is also developing his inside midfield game with his contest work. Fittingly, Hollands is a Carlton supporter whose great-grandfather Martin Cross played 36 VFL games for the Blues in the 1960s.

Those articles, similar to Twomey' phantoms, are generally based on information they get from clubs
Clubs don't interview just 1 player for each pick range, nor does that information take into account players sliding and rising, changing a clubs strategy

Martin Cross is a legend up in the Ovens and Murray league. Coached both Myrtleford (their only flag in 1970) and North Albury to premierships, coached for 21 seasons in total.
Suspect that Hollands would be strong leadership material.
