Best available there by expert opinion. Was touted top 12 so can’t complain with landing him at our pick as the first rounds slider. Now we’ve landed a tall mid will be interesting to see if we go more position specific with 20s picks. Talls/ruck etc

If Ed can be half as good as his old man we’ll have done well.

Sydney did us a huge favour by knocking off one of the Giants’ picks. Hopefully someone knocks off Essendon’s pick by bidding on Davey too.

So we're guaranteed one of Ryan, Cowan, George, Clarke, Hayes, Gruzewski or Barnett with pick 28. And if they all go, we can have a shot at Hotton, Hustwaite or Keeler with 30.

Then maybe a Lemmey or Scully with 47

I think W. Coast might bid on Davey as they will benefit in doing so by having pick 26. With similar types in Jones & Konstanty both gone a bid on Davey makes sense.
