Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
Would not get rid of Rowe. Read a stat somewhere that he hit up Walker for 15 goals this year.Consensus is that AFC supporters are an impatient bunch.
rowe will flourish as he ages. Good skills and can adjust to the pace of the game. We will regret letting him go.
rowe’s current season vs StengLe in 2020:

And he's certainly no tweener mate. He's no KPD mate
his field kicking is pretty good but his goal kicking at pressure of AFL level is putrid only just above murphyWould not get rid of Rowe. Read a stat somewhere that he hit up Walker for 15 goals this year.
At least he can kick.

Why not both because I agree we really do need to bring in a young developing ruck because surely we aren't planning to develop Thilthorpe as a ruck if so we used KPF draft collateral to get him?See above re Worrell.
Max is a nice enough player, just feel we have other needs. I'd rather a project ruck than a project 3rd tall.
Yeah I probably should have just written third tall. Point, however, stands. Max will be behind worrell and doedee at least. Seems a pointless draft selection. And he's certainly no tweener mate.
I think they are hedging their bets depending how he develops as a forward this year. Why not both because I agree we really do need to bring in a young developing ruck because surely we aren't planning to develop Thilthorpe as a ruck if so we used KPF draft collateral to get him?
Surely Max is more a running type? He just happens to have good size. We have no drive from half back at all at the moment so yes it's a need.Yeah I probably should have just written third tall. Point, however, stands. Max will be behind worrell and doedee at least. Seems a pointless draft selection.
Max Michaelanney is not a 3rd tall though .......he's a replacement for SmithYeah I probably should have just written third tall. Point, however, stands. Max will be behind worrell and doedee at least. Seems a pointless draft selection.
Totally agree. I love Rowey but he can easily be replaced. There are few others not as good but were not delisted and saved only because they were contracted.Complaining about releasing Rowe is the sort of thing that is keeping us in mediocrity
Worrell is 195cmWorrell, Borlase
Let's see if those rumours about the Bulldogs being keen are true. Can’t see anyone giving him a lifeline because it’s obvious and you can’t fix it.
Michalanney will be more like an Andrew Mackie type. Rebounding half back.Yeah I probably should have just written third tall. Point, however, stands. Max will be behind worrell and doedee at least. Seems a pointless draft selection.
The Cathal McShane experiment didn't do too well...Finally, why don’t we have a young Paddy as our allowed 3rd Cat B rookie? For no draft capital, Irish Gaelic footballers have offered very good returns for many other clubs … likely adding raw pace and an endearing accent at local nightclubs.
They obviously didn't think Carmichael was better, especially considering he needed an 18 month deal.An attempt to win a SANFL flag maybe? Which makes the pick even stranger given that Carmichael is the superior player and he was available.
Not true, we don’t have a list spot to make for it to have been a comparison of abilityThey obviously didn't think Carmichael was better, especially considering he needed an 18 month deal.
Matt crouchWith us somehow managing to contract all of our spuds beyond this year, does this mean we will have a truck load of delistings next year?
Who are the "big names" we would expect to move on?

These are our OOC players next yearMatt crouch
When is sloane up ?
Seedsman
McPherson
The most obvious ones above
But then there’s younger ones dependant on performance next year
Which ones are OOC ?
You’ve nailed itThese are our OOC players next year
Here’s how I would look at it, real early so made a few judgement calls that may look silly.
Retire:
Seedsman, Sloane, Walker (performance dependent)
Re-sign (high priority):
Fogarty, Schoenberg, Worrell, Butts
Re-sign:
Murray, McAdam, Doedee, Taylor
Wait and see:
Jones, McAsey, Hately, Nankervis
De-list:
McPherson, Strachan, Murphy, Crouch
