You really should stop comparing Baker to McHenry, it’s embarrassing. Baker would get a game in any team in the AFL and is quality. McHenry would get a game in our AFL and SANFL teams.Natural selection PLUS the TPP will sort out lists ......yet you look at most of the Finalists and look at their bottom 6 players in the team .....very few, nay none, bat all the way to #22
Look at RICH .....Tarrant, Miller, Broad, Ross, and Baker (who I'd compare with McHenry) ......hardly skilled players, they are competitive role players though ......and god forbid, you look at the BULLDOGS bottom 6 players
What I'm saying is, even us, at the end of the rebuild will still have the likes of a Jones and McHenry playing.....or similar types, supporters will savage each week .....TPP ensures that
Jack Ross could be a lot better than a role player of he was given more opportunities in the guts.Natural selection PLUS the TPP will sort out lists ......yet you look at most of the Finalists and look at their bottom 6 players in the team .....very few, nay none, bat all the way to #22

Exactly my point. He has received some opportunites .....but only after injuries to Cotchin, Graham, and Prestia during the season
Get Short out of that Midfield and Ross inExactly my point.
IMO Crouch is the same type of player as Tom Mitchell ......it seems Tom Mitchell does have suitors for a trade ...so it would seem, so will Matt Crouch ....who I must say, has definitely changed his playing style in the SANFL the last month .....but he's done that b4 in 2020, albeit under pressure he reverted back to form
Even Rucci would, it appear, take Tom Mitchell at Port

Long time lurker here, apologies if this has been discussed but thoughts on Jack Graham being gettable? I know he is contracted for one more year but can see him as the big body we need. Have we made a play for him before?
Graham is good at what he does but too similar to what we already have, we need a mid with burst speed at least, hopefully with above average skills especially by foot, dual sided a bonus and some versatility would be nice too.Long time lurker here, apologies if this has been discussed but thoughts on Jack Graham being gettable? Absolutely not.Jackson Callow delisted , worth a rookie list spot
They're targeting Taranto aren't they?Would Richmond look at Matt Crouch? Midfield getting old (Cotchin, Martin) and Prestia injury prone. Edwards long gone from midfield. Bolton forward of the ball a lot.
Could barely find the pill last night. Toby Nankervis led their possession count by a mile.

Baker is one of my favourite players on the Tiger’s list. Along with Nick Vlastuin.
McHenry can dream of playing a single game in his career at Baker’s base level!
And last night was one of Bakers better games .....agree re disposalWatching the game last night and without seeing these comments...I was thinking how garbage Baker was and comparing him to McHenry. Sure appears to get himself into position better than McSpud...but God his disposal is utter garbage.
I love a multi team * around trade as much as the next person so here is my attempt at getting a heap of s*t done at once
Team In Out Adelaide Rankine, 44, Future 2nd (NM) 5, Future 3rd North 5, 8, 13**, Future 3rd (ADE) 1, 19, 55, Future 2nd GC 1, 19, Future 2nd (BL) Rankine, 8, 32, 33, 43, 68 Lions 32, 33, 43, 55, 68 13**, 44, Future 2nd.
GC in essence trade Rankine and 8 for 1 and 19 valuing him at 10 and trade their second rounders for North's at the minute not real compo pick (see below).
North get 3 picks before 15 (well bids pending) to help further their list build. Adding Cadman Busslinger and a McKenzie/Humphrey/Ginbey is probably more attractive then just one of Sheezel, Wardlaw or Tsatas
Brisbane bank points for their 2 father sons.
We give up 5 but I think we are going to have to directly or indirectly to get it over the line.
I haven't included any McStay or other free agent compo's or traded players just what is there at the minute and a made up 19 (but likely they will get it)
*On the assumption NM get an end of round 1 compo pick (19).
**13 at the minute pending how far Lions go.
cAre they less skilled or do they recognise that just putting player x forward is not going to have that much of an impact when the game is now tactically primarily system based?
Coaches still try things from time to time, including Nicks, e.g. Dawson forward, Murray ruck etc.
Also it’s all well and good to say Blight was a genius for swinging Jarman forward, but I dare say a lot of coaches could’ve pulled off some seemingly genius moves if they had him at their disposa
crouch wont leave SA IMOThere was a report, both WA Clubs were looking at Crouch ......he will have suitors, if Mitchell is
Crouch has said he wants to play AFL... so that would suggest he is open to leaving SA if that is the only way.c
crouch wont leave SA IMO
i suspect we may finally see another trade with port when they fail to secure dunkley
Didn't Pkye request this?Graham is good at what he does but too similar to what we already have, we need a mid with burst speed at least, hopefully with above average skills especially by foot, dual sided a bonus and some versatility would be nice too.
Interesting perspective, I seem to remember you being exceptionally high on Callow in his draft year.Absolutely not.
Does he replace Fischer up forward?
Bloody good idea!!!Would Richmond look at Matt Crouch? Midfield getting old (Cotchin, Martin) and Prestia injury prone. Edwards long gone from midfield. Bolton forward of the ball a lot.
