Crouch ....younger, same player type ....you'd have to believe a similar trade value
Think people forget Cook came from the clouds to be drafted .....is only in his 2nd year & is learning how to play an AFL type gameI don't think it's about being soft. He's not getting to the tackle and having enough core strength to really stick it. He needs an off season desperately.
Why ? ......forget past performances & accolades .....but based on game style each brings ?Crouch not worth as much as Mitchell.
Clearly Santa is coming early for Adelaide.
Rankine will be minimum pick 5 and future 3rd. Or Future 1st and a second rounder this year. Reference the Cerra trade from last year if you like.
You wont get Cox full stop he’s an important piece for Freo and to suggest pick 16 lol. If Freo were to trade a Key Back it will be Logue and or Hambling.

You look at that side and effort and you wouldnt think there was to many AFL listed players never mind high draft picks.
Taylor stood out like dogs balls on a hot summers day especially in the 1st half.
I said it many times I can't believe we have Godden in charge of this group.
There's a large group that just look uninspired.
Why ? ......forget past performances & accolades .....but based on game style each brings ?
So after hints and comments from the club, it's becoming increasingly clear that only Rankine is a likely trade, all others we are not in the running. Pity as Hopper would have been good
I haven’t watched much of Hawthorn for a couple of years so I don’t know how far Mitchell has fallen of the cliff. Why ? ......forget past performances & accolades .....but based on game style each brings ?
Milera MkIICook is not soft. That's Sholl territory. His main problem is that he goes missing too often. He looks good with ball in hand.
Because Sam Mitchell wants an attacking gamestyle, based on speed of ball movement .....Tom Mitchell's crab play and calling for the ball 15 mtrs from teammates, simply slows down HAW's ball movementI haven’t watched much of Hawthorn for a couple of years so I don’t know how far Mitchell has fallen of the cliff.
Crouch can’t run thoughBecause Sam Mitchell wants an attacking gamestyle, based on speed of ball movement .....Tom Mitchell's crab play and calling for the ball 15 mtrs from teammates, simply slows down HAW's ball movement
He will have suitors .....as will Crouch
Not entirely true.Charlie Cameron was contracted as well although it was 1 year left. Contracts are fairly meaningless these days if a player says he wants to go home. No use keeping a player that doesn't want to be there.
I'm not a big fan of Baker, but he was a rookie selection who is a dual premiership player, was a 2019 NAB AFL Rising Star Nominee in 2019 and equal 2nd for the Richmond B&F last year (His 4th season). Baker also rates as above average for disposals, handballs and tackles, average for kicks and metres gained and below average for marks. Baker averages 0.32 goals per game as a player who plays forward, back and in the midfield across his career.McHenry - 2 1/2 years younger than Baker - 179cm ......40 less games - 3rd AFL season
Baker - 173cm - 40 more games - 5th AFL season
McHenry showing more at same stage of career
Good stats for Baker, but not sure Collier-Dawkins is an upgrade on anyone??I'm not a big fan of Baker, but he was a rookie selection who is a dual premiership player, was a 2019 NAB AFL Rising Star Nominee in 2019 and equal 2nd for the Richmond B&F last year (His 4th season). McHenry was a first round draft pick, has never played finals, didn't receive a nomination for the NAB Rising Star and hasn't come close to a podium finish in the B&F. McHenry averages just less than 0.5 goals a game over his career as a dedicated small forward.
From a return on investment perspective, I would much rather have used a rookie draft pick on Baker than a first round draft pick on McHenry where the Crows could have recruited Duursma or Collier-Dawkins who were selected within a few selections of McHenry.
Collier-Dawkins who hasn't been able to hardly get an AFL game (11) in 4 years on an AFL list? Even Jack Ross drafted in the same draft at pick 43 has played 44 AFL games.I'm not a big fan of Baker, but he was a rookie selection who is a dual premiership player, was a 2019 NAB AFL Rising Star Nominee in 2019 and equal 2nd for the Richmond B&F last year (His 4th season). Let's have a look at Richmond's midfield over the past 4 years ... Prestia, Martin, Cotchin, Edwards, Bolton, Graham, Short, Pickett, Ross, Caddy, McIntosh and with Collier-Dawkins, Sonsie, Dow also fighting for a place in the midfield when an opportunity might present. Since Collier-Dawkins was drafted Richmond have won 2 premierships and made the finals again this year. In the VFL this year Collier-Dawkins has averaged 20.75 possessions, 3.3 marks and 6.5 tackles per game where he has mainly played in defence. Collier-Dawkins has also kicked 6 goals this year from defence.Collier-Dawkins who hasn't been able to hardly get an AFL game (11) in 4 years on an AFL list? Because he can't get a game playing for us?Why ? ......forget past performances & accolades .....but based on game style each brings ?
Maybe... maybe not. I'm ultra wary of making the assumption that a player who can't get a game in a top midfield would be an automatic inclusion in a bottom midfield group. If Collier-Dawkins was drafted by the Crows he would have played more than 11 AFL games like he has at Richmond as he would be a key component of the Crows midfield rotation who can play back and forwards. There is rationale and logic behind my comments, and I was bullish on Collier-Dawkins in his draft year, and I still believe he could be a 200 game AFL player.

No current season stats available
Is it possible that neither of us won that trade?Liam Stocker just got released by Carlton.
The trade that stopped the football world!
I could almost be talked into picking him up just to stick it to SOS one last time
