I like cook, I see a nice player in there but wow he’s been massively overrated in here over the last couple of weeks

I've been pretty convinced that there is a path to turn Cook into a superstar for the last 8-9 months (since the 2nd Glenelg game last year). Though it would require taking to a move more towards the inside of the contest

I’d do a second at absolute maximum
Change of environment might be the key , the talent is there as we all know
But has been hugely underwhelming
Infact all of the SA super draft kids have tbh

What's happened to Milera? I seem to remember we signed him to a multi-year contract a few years ago. At the time it was said he would become one of the league's guns when recovered from injury. Even a big-bodied mid.
Seems like we could use him now, or his list spot.

He seem to be an entertainer who need a crowd to get him up (hence his performance in the debut game), maybe he need to play for a club that he supported as a kid and have that crowd behind him to fire up and set the standard in his preparation.

Yes but apparently we have money in the bank for recruits. So...a rookie payment wouldn't break the cap. If anything it was to get Gibbs AFL benefits. Its ok to be a family club etc and endeavour to look after our ex players but damn. Aren't we chasing opportunities to access genuine talent for a rebuild.

He could be worth a trade though. He may simply not have his heart in the Gold Coast. He could be keen on a home coming.

Do you know what’s worse? He’s out performing a first round pick that plays similar position for us. I’ve been banging on how the role McHenry plays could be found as a rookie or sanfl, well there’s a small forward smashing what McHenry delivers and he’s a rookie.
