Let's see how he goes in the preseason matches. Last year he battled injuries, so even if he gets less mid time, he should be good for 80 or so. High tackle count and gets contested ball, will boost his score. Lions have every player "getting more time in the middle" this year apparently, so we really need to see some matches to see what's really happening.Jarrod Berry tempting at $268k. 97 avg in last full season, may get less mid time now though.
Rayner and Bailey supposedly getting more mid time for the Lions. Where does Berry fit in?Jarrod Berry tempting at $268k. 97 avg in last full season, may get less mid time now though.
It must be freezing there, poor lass
That is the concern. Watch closely in pre season his CBA. I’ll probably skip him.Rayner and Bailey supposedly getting more mid time for the Lions. Where does Berry fit in?
He'll out-perform his start price, but by enough to be worth the investment? Not for me.
The sexual innuendo of this gif is scintillating
Funnily enough my Italian adult film stage name was Johnny Innuendo. The sexual innuendo of this gif is scintillating
Milera vs Coleman? Similar price - who is likely to have the better job security + scoring potential?
Even if Greenwood was a fwd/mid dpp I would still pick Thomas a million times a head of himTarryn Thomas or Hugh Greenwood....that is the question?
But he tackles. Depending on how strictly the new rules are followed/implemented he could be a scoring machineEven if Greenwood was a fwd/mid dpp I would still pick Thomas a million times a head of him
Greenwood is there to block and do the defensive stuff so ldu Simpkin and Thomas can attack and free wheel hunting the ball
Fair call but watching him today I don’t think he’s relevantBut he tackles. Depending on how strictly the new rules are followed/implemented he could be a scoring machine
I agree with you, just offering up a different pov. New team, new rules and renewed motivation might see him go ok. Better ruckman for him than last season too. Shin BonerFair call but watching him today I don’t think he’s relevant
Especially as a mid only
If he had dpp it opens things up again
Might also hit cruise mode with the bigger contract.I agree with you, just offering up a different pov. New team, new rules and renewed motivation might see him go ok. Better ruckman for him than last season too. Shin Bonerspirit and all that

Under $300k I'm happy to take as a high price cash cow/stepping stone
Hewett is $400k and Rowell is $360k. Berry is what, $270k? Big difference. That's just $60k more than JHFOnly issue IMO is he has 0% chance of becoming a keeper, unlike Coleman/Hewett/Rowell and even Curnow.
I want my middies to have the chance, however lean, of proving untradable if they perform out of their skins.
For Berry it's simply not gonna happen especially as he's been played on the wing in practice
Weller and Brayshaw vs Heeney and Cripps
