Let's see how he goes in the preseason matches. Last year he battled injuries, so even if he gets less mid time, he should be good for 80 or so. High tackle count and gets contested ball, will boost his score. Lions have every player "getting more time in the middle" this year apparently, so we really need to see some matches to see what's really happening.

Under $300k I'm happy to take as a high price cash cow/stepping stone

Even if Greenwood was a fwd/mid dpp I would still pick Thomas a million times a head of him

I agree with you, just offering up a different pov. New team, new rules and renewed motivation might see him go ok. Better ruckman for him than last season too. Shin Boner spirit and all that

I’ve been pretty wedded to my team and structure for a while now. But it looks like I need to generate some cash for these elevated rookies.
So Sicily down to Hewett vs Rowell down to Berry.

Only issue IMO is he has 0% chance of becoming a keeper, unlike Coleman/Hewett/Rowell and even Curnow.

I want my middies to have the chance, however lean, of proving untradable if they perform out of their skins.

Hewett is $400k and Rowell is $360k. Berry is what, $270k? Big difference. That's just $60k more than JHF

With 35 trades you can afford to take stepping stones even more I reckon

If he goes 95-100 you'll happily keep him at M8 until very late in the year, or you trade him when he has his bye at ~$400k min
