Cogs is the only midpriced certainty IMO.
All the others could just as easily be total junk.
Curnow is probably second best and he wont be a keeper.

If he is playing wing it would cap his out put IMO.
Most wings average 80s.
I don't see how he gets midfield time the lions bat deep in there.
Risky pick IMO. 0 chance he becomes a keeper.
He might make 130 grand ish.
I would prefer a mid rookie.

Correct, hopefully 80+ and one of the last upgrades. I expect Cogs to be the same, he might be a keeper. Weller (if you can call him a mid-pricer) I would only select if I thought he was going to be a keeper.

Well aside from injury Coleman and Cog's will make money, it's just a matter of how much. I'm expecting to have to trade at least one. As I said above, I would only start Weller if I felt he was going to be a keeper, 90+ would be a win for him.
Rayner, Cogs and Curnow are my midpricers.
I think Rayner could be a keeper.
Curnow will be f6 until he spikes a couple of 100s in a row and gets over 400k.
But having a bloke you know wont be keeper material and another bloke your best case is f6 is a worry.

Oliver and Short.
Oliver is the best captain option of the 4 IMO.
Its really close though.

With Walsh dead i'm toying with a few ways to spend that coin.
Straight swap into Titch. (Macrae, Steele, Oliver, Titch, Neale)
Chuck the coin into the forwards:
Turn Walsh into Matt Rowell, turn Rayner into big dope English (i like the kent for SC this year) or another premo FWD.
Turn Walsh into a mid rookie, upgrade rayner or another FWD to Mitch Duncan.
Chuck the coin into defense.
Turn Walsh into Rowell..... nobody at the 490k range worth looking at, so will have to turn Rayner into a rookie to free up coin for a DEF upgrade.
Turn Walsh into a mid rookie, upgrade def rookie to Dawson
I think there's one option where can go
IN - Rowell, English, Coleman

Depends how MPM you want to go really doesn't it?
I think I'm in the minority but I don't see the fuss with Raynor, definitely wouldn't pick him over Coleman.
I think Treloar is a better pick at the same price as English.
But the rest of the plan looks good mate.

Treloar is a huge injury risk. If he's the only one in your team fine, but risky taking too many.

I can get behind the English pick. It's a brave one, but if he plays to potential as a marking tall forward who plays some time in the ruck, it could easily pay off.
