Dawson is the next captain, Doedee is injured too often and form yoyo's too much also when we've had the chance this season the captain has mainly been Smith or O'Brien

i dont think dawson yet has the media, fan, group maturity like doedee has. i'm just going on personal player interactions and media performances - on field leadership he obviously has in spades

One big problem, Dow can't kick. Who would he replace in our midfield rotation? He's a bit of an inside/outside combo mid, not either or. He's not bad, but he's worse than Laird and Berry at the inside stuff. And not great at the outside stuff.

his onfield will be a lot better next year IMO
he was injured this year - you could see it, and he told us at the supporters day he was struggling
i think hes the natural leader but i know some on here want him traded!

i just want you to realise that when discussing selection or player talent you have a tendency to be hypocritical. You'll laugh at stats as meaningless but then use them if you need them. You'll slam opinions from Rendell or Buckenara if they're contrary to yours but then you're happy to post them if they support your view. It annoys me, but that's probably my issue, not yours. I've been told that I can be annoying. On exceedingly rare occasions I would imagine though.
