Doggies board talking up Hunter's off field issues, don't think they like the pick and salary component.:p

Imagine having a midfield with Gawn, Grundy, Oliver, Petracca, Viney, Langdon and Hunter, with Brayshaw and Harmes rotating through. Nuts

Pretty savvy trading, being able to sell the club to Grundy and Hunter and using their clubs want to shed their contracts to our advantage

Obviously sets us up for a fail if both can't recapture their best, but I think a change to a new club vying for top4/flags could be really good for both of them

We've shed some pretty garbage depth and have brought in some very handy players albeit with some question marks over them

Got some pretty strong picks too. Gotta be a B+/A for the trade period

There's a reason we got Hunter cheap. Let's hope he sorts his s**t out off field.
It's very low risk, he's cheap as so if he puts a foot wrong it's not a big loss. Geelong got a gun in Stengle for nothing because they were willing to take the risk. Worth the punt.

Bunch of flog hypocrites. If you brought them up 3 months ago they would have called you a monster for not respecting his mental health issues.

There's probably something in it right? even if the dogs fans are overplaying it. Doesn't make much sense to trade him for peanuts and pay some of his salary otherwise. Dunkley is on the way out so doubt they need the cap space.

Melb trade 13, 37, F1, F1 (Freo) to Essendon for 4, 22, F2 or to North for 3, 40, F2, F3?

If we want another elite kid this year - that's probably what it takes to get it.

As long as we keep him away from May it should be good, a new club and he'll be on best behaviour you'd think.

Hope so, good player at his best and we've been crying out for another quality outside mid. Not a huge loss if it doesn't work out for whatever reason I guess, we've given up very little.

**** off Gus, youre a half back flanker.

Its not even any risk, a pick in the 50s for a bloke who is a walk up start in our best 22 on a discount is bonkers.

He could play zero games for us and we've lost a pick we probably pass on come draft night.

B: Bowey May Hibberd
HB: Lever Petty Salem
C: Hunter Oliver Langdon
HF: Petracca TMac/JVR Fritsch
F: Pickett Brown Spargo
R: Gawn Viney Brayshaw
Int: Grundy Harmes Sparrow ANB Rivers

That’s assuming a bench of 5.
