Also as part of their half-baked assistance package in 2019 the AFL gave the Sun's an expanded cap and list, so they could've fit these salaries in a couple of years back, but now they're level with everyone else they're in the s**t.

Pretty crazy that if our next move is to trade Grundy for 27, we will at that stage have 0 useable draft picks in this year's draft (54 likely to be too low to use).
Dory_77 – might be worth pinning this? Gets updated after every move.
So looks like Geelong are getting Bowes and pick 7. *.
I also heard that Bowes is willing to take a pay cut and extend the years he gets the 1.6 over. So the cats aren't even going to absorb the huge contract he's on over two years. So looks like Geelong are getting Bowes and pick 7. *.
Pies want more than 27 for grundy. Hold firm dees.
This made me think of a moment I had with my partner in 2009. She asked me 'what was I thinking' expecting something romantic I guess, my reply was, 'why did it take so long for the McLean trade to go through'. It was a known fact that we were going to get pick 11 for him so why did it take all week. I can only think the barry hall trade was the big trade and everyone was waiting on that. Anyway I agree, a lot of these deals are virtually agreed upon but they like to let us wait, more money I guess.Make trade week 2 days long
I spent most of the day at work waiting for those red hot trades to come through and jeezus HURRY UP
take our pick 27 YOU DOGS
Someone help me, trying to remember. Weren't Collingwood a bit like this with Treloar? Then at the last second they folded?
Thanks for letting us know.Cant remember mate.

You won't BELIEVE number six.Im interested in the who the other nine are
If Gawn ends up playing more forward as a result of the Grundy trade, if you put away his terrible kicking action, I actually think his marking ability is right down. I suppose the game plan of kicking it on his head over and over again doesn't help.
Yes it did cross my mind that he could cause some headaches as an extra tall in the forward line, there's definitely some positives there. Could be handy if he could bring the ball to ground for our smalls and hopefully doesn't get in the way of our other forwards, the Fritsch goal in the gf comes to mind, yeah it worked out but Gawn almost stuffed it up for him.Max as Nm 1 key forward is not a great option. Max as Nm 2 or 3 key forward playing off Petty and Tommy Mac or JVO poses some questions to opposing defences.
