13 & 27 for Grundy & 16. Seemed fair to me. Our list management team don’t understand that you have to give quality to get quality. FFS.

You're giving up too little, man. Need to include a player and F1.

Whist we're at it lets trade Zurich for Carlton Zero as sponsors

I take great umbrella at these comments. I don’t think anyone is actually seeing the forest for the bigger picture here…

13 is essentially split for pick 16 & Grundy. Grundy is an AA, almost premiership player that Collingwood has put a decade of development into he’s really worth about pick 5. Pick 27 is merely streak knives in the deal.

Too bad Tim Lame is too frightened to do a deal.

Does he have a daughter called Samantha Lame, who worked on Before the Lame at channel 20?

Just having fun man.

With Grundy, I care less about what we give and more about what we (don't) pay of his salary to be honest. Fraser Rosman was pick 34 and never played a game, no guarantee Pick 27 would either. I just want to ensure we retain harmony on the list by not paying him too much $

How are we going with addressing our weakest part of the ground, our F50? Surely we have made a heap of trades to strengthen this part of the ground?

Zero

Just traded out our forward depth in Bedford and Weideman while delisting more depth in Daw and Brown.

Sam Weideman is still ours for the time being

Majak Daw Retired mid-season

Mitch Brown Retired after the VFL Granny

The only one we had a hand in trading is Toby Bedford and he was looking elsewhere for opportunity anyway

The chance of us having Daw, M.Brown, Bedford next year were always going to be slim.

What have we done as a result of losing our bottom of the barrel forward depth (still albeit depth).

Can already see us signing baker on a 1 year contract to try his hand in forward craft.

There are other ways to bolster depth other then trades and the National Draft. DFA, PSD,SSP, Mid-season draft comes to mind.

We arnt going to craft a premiership winning forward line from delisted players or the pre season draft. Let’s be honest here.

Ain’t going to be any 50 goal a year tall forwards kicking back waiting for the Dees to swoop in with pick 14 in the rookie draft

Yeah and there's none that are on the trade tables so what's your point?

There are more than ways than one to make a premiership team but there is always those players who are the unsung heroes in that team and most teams pick them up in unorthodox ways. Geelong Picked up Tyson Stengle who was discarded by the Crows and he turned out to be a beaut.

This period is just one of the many pieces of a premiership team.

Good teams find ways to be great and stay there. Only bad teams find excuses why they weren't.

huh? literally makes no sense.

Pies probably saw how weak Lamb was in his negotiations with Freo that they've demanded more than pick 27. What should Lamb be doing? He should be telling the pies that pick 27 is off the table and tell Collingwood they can keep grundy. Let them freak and then accept a future 2nd rounder from them to take Grundy's contract. If it falls through, we're better off without Grundy anyway who has 2 years left in the game max.

We had very little leverage in the Jackson scenario ever since he started stinking up the joint and driving down his value since June. It was destined at that piont that he was going to sook it up and go back to W.A.

As far a Grundy is concerned say Gawn goes down with an injury who is our back-up ruck. Brown? TMac?

Trading 33,43 and 53 for a 6 pick upgrade set the precedent. Those picks are worth pick 14 in points but we settled for 27.

Probably could’ve been done without including pick 53.

Then he arrogantly (and unnecessarily) comes out and declares we weren’t going to USE those picks anyway, only to then later trade Bedford for pick 44 (despite posturing that he wouldn’t) to USE in a trade to Freo.

Worst part is, he didn’t even check with Collingwood first as to if pick 27 would suffice for Grundy, before trading away essentially our whole 2022 draft hand, literally makes no sense.

Hang on to Weid

Hang on to Weid

Earlier you had conceded Weid lost because we've traded him now you want to hang on to him. Keep your story consistent.

Just hold the melts for a few days. Man some people in this generation have no ******* patience.
