When Melbourne drafted him, our list managers were 'irresponsible'. Think he even went to the length of them being 'derelict in their duties' or similar.

I'm sure if Kozzy eventually leaves, the receiving club will be a 'huge winner', despite him calling Pickett a 'rookie list talent'.

There are some other talls later on that could be a shout. That young Van Es lad dominated at the Combine. One of the better key defending options if people are so adamant about the idea of moving Petty forward.

Emile-Brennan (NGA Academy) late or rookie.

Picking up some KPF state league players and or ruckmen as late/rookie/SSP picks wouldn't go astray either.

No, you get a mature journeyman ruckman in who can hold up an end if required. A young project ruck is of no assistance at all if there are injuries because they aren’t up to playing seniors.

In 3 years time when we need a ruckman who might actually play regularly you trade for them.

We don’t tend to reach with our early picks, and Jefferson doesn’t seem like a Jason Taylor type either.

He looks like the sort of player we might target. The Inner Sanctum has him at pick 13.

Keeler offers something no other prospect can as a ruck-forward that has superstar traits. He has a 60-metre set shot, moves around the ground well for his size, has soft hands in the ruck and offers a tendency of dropping into the hole to assist his defenders. There’s sky-high upside with Keeler, which sees him entrenched in the top 20 despite lesser output than some around him in 2022.
