Freo are the only team i have no dislike for so thank you for that
I can say with confidence living here in Perth, the fan base for Freo is a sh1tton better than WCE. They understand footy and don’t boo for no reason whereas WCE just boo for no reason other than the opposition player has the footy in hand. I’ve grown up in Melbourne and hated Essendon, Collingwood and Carlton like most here but WCE and then daylight with the most hated for me in the AFL.

I agree about west coast, very entitled bunch of supporters unlike the dockers fans

I will second that

go balls to the wall for Bowes. He is just as good as Hunter Clark.

If he comes with pick 7. Then it’s a no brainer.

List spots may become an issue if we take a few picks to the draft.

Delist: Jed, Atu, Polec, Turner, Walker.

A combo of: Lazz, Mahony, Spicer to the rookie list.

PSD: Logue
Future 3rd (PP): Tucker
Future 2nd (PP): Clark
Future 1st & Future 3rd: 5,7,31 & Bowes
Use pick 7 to trade back into 2023 first Rd

Take pick 1, 5, 31 & 55 to the draft.

MELBOURNE'S Jayden Hunt faces an uncertain future with the free agent remaining unsigned for next year.

Hunt is an unrestricted free agent and played 20 games for the Demons this season, including their two finals. He also played 20 games in 2021 and was unlucky to miss out on the club's premiership win last year after injuring his ankle late in Melbourne's campaign.

He is without a contract for 2023. West Coast has a level of interest in Hunt and given his free agency status he could leave and join any club without a trade being enacted.

Put him on the wing. Better option than hill I would think

Poor man's Shaun Atley.

The Bowes salary dump sounds too good to be true. Is that why North aren’t mentioned in the article? Because we are not allowed to have nice things?

I would imagine we would have more room than any team for a salary dump. Surely we are pursuing this deal? Bowes might not want to come to us, but surely we are one of the clubs interested?

Perhaps not if we are already locked into taking on massive contracts of other players.

But for mine, I would dump any idea of Hill if it meant we could pick up this deal.

The AFL industry have reporters scattered everywhere that report on the smallest of whispers. How is it that an issue that such a significant issue was reported outside the normal reporting avenues. Add to this how defensive the guy was when challenged about his tactics surrounding reaching out to Fagan and Clarkson.

Just doesn't sit well with me.
Hopefully the report vs the article are vastly differeing and therefore not as significant action is needed to be taken.

I will admit I'm poosibly a bit bias in my thoughts as I hate todays media and how 'trial by media' seems to have hit new levels.

We 100% NEED to be all in on Bowes.
Really good player just hitting his prime and comes with pick 7?? That's crazy.
Imagine pick 1, pick 7 and Harvey in the draft this year alongside 4-5 mature agers.
We're basically winning the offseason at that point
Need to be all over this one.

Is it either or?

There's got to be more to that Bowes + pick 7 trade. They could surely give him away for free if they are desperate to offload him (Or add in a second rounder if his contract is that terrible). Then again they did trade pick two for Weller, and gave away their pick 11 for pick 20 something, so who knows with them.

They gave away Brodie and pick 19 last year. People who get things for free don't appreciate them.

Heavily back ended contract is whats been reported.

The timing itself is just horrible.

We are now in limbo with us potentially not having a coach, which would make any player nervous.

The issue at play here could be that these investigations could drag on for months.
Practically, Clarkson is out of the picture either for a while or permanently.

We need to move forward with plan B no matter what.
