Effectively us swapping a Future third (PP) for a 2022 second rounder to take on Brad Hills contract.

On trade the second rounder to Fremantle + steak knives for G.Logue.

Forget about the others. Bedford wont happen.

Issues with Ratten, club thinks he doesn't work hard enough, only player they have that can net them an early second round pick, club pi**ed him off by shopping him.

I'd actually keep Polec if he's fit, move Spicer to the rookie list and pay out Mahony. It will be a sad day if Mahony ever plays another game at senior level for us. Not so sad if it is for our opponents of course.

Yes well on the limited available footage, one would be a harsh judge to label the other Clarko a shitmen. He kicks of both feet and again one must ponder the harsh reality that it could be argued plenty of players can't kick of either foot. Doesn't fumble, is quick and has time, it is a yes from me.

I hope we get him, as I'm close to losing interest in us tbh. Haven't got another season in me where by rd 3 I'm hoping we lose to get some juicy PP's.

His rucking in the VFL is good. He'd be fine going against part timers, we're not talking centre bounce against Nic Nat.

1. We've been given a second rounder that we have to trade so our hands are essentially tied into using it on either Clark or Logue.
2. I think it is very short sighted to be calling the CCJ a disaster or to be ridiculing it. He hasn't played 20 AFL games and traditionally rucks take the longest to come on. Yes he needs to improve his ruck craft and physicality but he is a decent mark around the ground and has shown he is too good for VFL. Have faith.

Ha as I said they've fixed him finally. he got absolutely poleaxed in his one game at AFL level. A year ago he would have turned to dust, he got up and went on with it. I honestly thought at the time, well this is the test.

I admit I wasn't confident and Gerard Healys chimed in with he'd have to have broken ribs after that, but the mighty Comben picked himself up and went on with it.
Spent time in the ruck during that match, did ok for a guy who hasn't played much footy for 4 years. My point was should we suffer injuries he can come in. I expect him to continue to play a bit in the VFL next season, just get some games into him.

Well I was just wondering as there is a lot of angst around the CCJ trade, not from me personally but I do wonder at times if he will make it.

As to the Clark personage I have no idea if he is good bad or indifferent, so the heads up from others is all I can view it as.
Sounds like he is a good player so if we can get him without blowing the bank then all good!
