I know this board is full of body language experts. What should we make of this still of Rawlings and Davies? Who is the dom?

Davies tried it pushing out the gut but Rawlings smashed him with a steady cup hold and then Davies hands sheepishly went into his pockets. This may have cost Port another pick.

Surely we’ll add Hunter Clark during the trade period.
Strange Brady said it's in StKilda's court? Does that mean we are waiting for them to push him out? Whether contracted or not players seem to be publicly requesting trades and nominating the club. This isn't the case with Clark.

Brady looking very relaxed and confident. Davies defensive and awkward.
I think Port know we aren't going to trade him for a packet of chips. I like that they might be concerned about us playing hard ball so to speak.

god i am looking forward to another death ride though

Yep, we hold the upper hand. He's contracted, they've sold him the dream and their fan base are salivating at the prospect of him playing for them next year if they don't get it done this year and we hold out until next year sure he might be out of contract but Adelaide will also be in the mix. Port have to get it done this year.

Why am I getting a sick feeling about this ?

Colin Young has been firm on this one.

Once a player has made the hard move of saying goodbye it's a lot easier to just look to the money and new role.

Every club will be in the mix next year. A whole bunch of them will open up space if he is still with North and considered gettable (unlikely IMO, gone).

The Roos are open to bringing in Port Adelaide players to bring some more maturity to their list, with former first-round pick Miles Bergman keen to return home

Rawlings said the club was adamant Alastair Clarkson would have no role in the trade period while the investigation into allegations regarding his time at Hawthorn plays out.

“We need the process to unfold. The process has to play out with Alastair and you know that.

“We have got our list management team, which has been in place for quite a while.

“We have got Todd Viney who has joined us recently and is an expert in this area, so we think we are pretty well placed.”

Is Rawlings trying to improve a football list or sell time share condos on the Gold Coast? Enough with the tan boots John Baird.
