This may be unpopular, but there’s a very real chance that the club prefers Tsatas and Wardlaw to Cadman.

You can argue all you want if that’s the correct decision, but if that’s true, then gaining pick #12 while taking the same two players that we would have selected at #1 and #2 is a major win for the club.

After 9 wins in three years our biggest need is decent footy players.

I don't think it's that unpopular. Cadman went from ~5 rank 2 weeks ago to the number 1 with no games beng played. All because the media are saying everyone is after a tall. 2 weeks ago everyone was saying that if we took Cadman at #1 we'd be reaching. Not because he's the best, but he'd fill a requirement. So for that reason it's justified.

IMO it comes down to supply and demand. It doesn't matter if we rate tsatas and wardlaw. It comes down to the perception of us wanting cadman and giants really wanting him. For that reason I don't think 12 is enough to warrant a 2 pick downgrade. 12 and 15...much better.

All this pick 12 stuff here is bullshit.

Our demand has to be pick 3 and Future GWS first to give up pick 1. This trade should also be separate from Port as there is no need to include them. They can deal with West Coast and whoever else to get us pick 2 and something else that better be bloody good.

The more teams that are added, the messier the whole thing gets and the less likely it gets done. IMO, I'd put the chances of JHF staying with North at about 80% right now. The Power need to get serious or **** off. That 1st and future 1st offer will be there from them next year.

I have nfi about what trade capital each team has this and next year or really what each player would be worth. I really just tried to rig it up so Port look like they lose out. It’s really just an exercise in mental gymnastics.

After we do that trade we should see if anyone wants our 1st this year, we can let them bend us over and accept 2 middle and a late first rounder, because that is what we are accepting for our number 1 pick last year
