We don't have many players in the 191cm-196cm range.
We have 4 players who are 201cm+.

tbh the way we're going I reckon Edwards could kick a few games of 4+ and not get a run in the seniors.North List Management Team discussion.
We have a deficiency in talls down back, so let’s trade for a Ruck/Forward that we date to desperate for.
What the fu** are they going to do with these guys if Edwards comes on quickly?
Play them in the VFL or delist?
Seems a perplexing decision to chase a player and pay through the nose for a role that might not be a real need?
Hopefully we scour state leagues for another assistant coach for the midseason draft.

Who cares? He's not coming to us.got the article giantroo ? I'm stuck behind a paywall.
'Generational talent' apparently.10 year contract? Geeze, I know old mate knightmare was pumping him up, but thats a Buddy contract, not a second year forward who hasn't proven anything yet
Lol there is a lot of pulling the trigger with the negativity.. ffs can we atleast give it more than one week before we declare Lazz and CCJ a bust..
I thought we picked Lazz with an eye on the forward line as much as anything else. He and Phoenix Spicer were the highest rated players in testing for agility that year.I'm not writing either of them off. I was just saying the Lazz (who I rate highly) was an odd pick considering we'd picked Phillips & Powell and we already had a number of smaller mids on the list.
CCJ imo we still paid overs for. We shouldn't have paid overs considering we still had the PSD in play, and also considering we were sending a best 22 player (in tarrant) to them.
he also pumped up jackson callow who's yet to play a game and likely to get delisted at the end of the year.10 year contract? Geeze, I know old mate knightmare was pumping him up, but thats a Buddy contract, not a second year forward who hasn't proven anything yet

Sydney Swans prodigy Logan McDonald has penned a new two-year extension with the club until the end of 2024, quashing speculation around his future.
I'm sure there was talk about him playing as a small forward. I might check his page."strong inside mid" as a junior mate. Only played a little big of half forward in his under age year.
Lazz tested off the charts for agility, so maybe they did see him as a half forward.
“Charlie is a really driven inside/outside midfielder who can also play forward," National Recruiting Manager, Mark Finnigan said.
There is also a graphic there with "Midfielder/Small Forward" as a header describing him. That would be where I got that idea from.
But honestly, we have Curtis now but we also had Mahony, Lazz and Atu who all have plenty of potential as small forwards and two of them don't seem to be getting a run there. I get developing Lazz as a mid in the VFL cos he does have talent but we have a strong midfield and not too many effective small forwards.
Our guys are all medium forwards and every one of them is 6'2" or 1.88m+ except Taylor. He is 6'1&3/4" (1.87m).
(Edited to add Mahony.)
He can chase too. He may struggle with some tackling but if gets the pressure on then that is a good start.Interesting to think about him as a small fwd, I think if he can hit the packs and crumb it might be a good thing, he has the work rate
They are too big and too slow for that role. Comben is a better fit but he is rightly earmarked for a CHF role and we should make that work if his body allows.Knowing full well, this suggestion will be received with a mixture of derision, disbelief, disdain and any other negative reaction starting with d, may I suggest that we consider turning either of X or CCJ into a key defender.
Both are 200 cm or taller so maybe too tall, but the main query would be their pace and if they are quick enough to play that role. It would be an experiment that would be bound to see several goals kicked by opposition forwards, but the instruction would be, "just follow your man to the marking contest and spoil; we don't care how many times you get outmarked and how many goals get kicked on you.".
If either have got the required pace then in time it will click. They are only marginally taller than Robbie Tarrant, once a forward who made the successful transition and Majak, (who I also called for this to happen with and received the aforesaid reactions) while *dustin *fletcher at 198cm was a pretty handy defender.PLAYERCARDSTART6Robbie Tarrant
