Not a fan? I rate him, obviously had some off field struggles but I'm not sure if the Dons have done him any flavours with flipping him around constantly and then playing guys like Stewart and Laverde ahead of him.

He has some good strengths but always thought he was a touch slow. That said haven't looked at him closely enough as any whispers involved him going back to SA. Personally I think we draft a good one next year anyway and try and find one from another club as well

He's a good interceptor. Showed a **** ton of potential a few years back before he got ruined by magnets being switched around/injury. Would be an onfield upgrade on Corr imo, but now that we have Corr there's probably no reason to pursue him

It's been absolutely obvious that we needed some more tall defensive options for some time... It has also been obvious we need goalkicking small forwards for years... And yet here we are hoping journeyman Josh Walker can do it all.

It’s good is it I was hammered when I said it was a disaster of a trade.

But was told it’s equivalent to 38 with all the other moving parts. But a second rounder in our position is way to valuable especially if the draft is over two days.

Anyways I hope CCJ works out I have my doubts.

A name id like to bring in and currently not playing for the team is Tom Clurey as a ready made key back.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, but gee I wish we held on to Majak for a few more years.

Could've helped in the forward line last year and could've helped in the backline this year.

199cm freak athletic defenders don't grow on trees. In saying that I was very surprised that he didn't get picked up at all after the season he had in the WAFL.

A couple of real perplexing draft selections the past couple years even post joyce - the charlie ham midseason pick in particular stands out as a real head scratcher as we already had hall playing well, atu ready to go and perez gearing up to challenge best 22 once he was healthy.

Lazz was an odd pick considering we went with Powell & Phillips with our first two picks. I'm still confused with the CCJ pick, especially if we rated Xerri so high. A 2nd round pick was too higher price to pay for him imo.

I know people are bit off Lazz after this week but give him time, prob not AFL ready currently reckon there's a niche for him as an attacking high half forward Zac Bailey/Zac Fisher type, just needs to up his conditioning and polish his skills but the fundamental tools of his game are there.

Not sure why we ended up giving up a 2nd rounder for a player who we could have hypothetically got for nothing, there's goodwill to other clubs then there's short sighted, shoot yourself in the foot kind of list management decisions.

I'm not going to write off CCJ yet, but the continuing trend of poor performance by the team through preseason and Round 1 makes me pretty confident we're going to be right near the bottom, if not wooden spooners again. The PSD pick is supposed to be a tool for weak teams to be able to get access to players without giving up too much of their draft capital, 'nice guys' North hobbling ourselves unnecessarily. If we can't engineer a favourable trade while holding PSD pick 1, and trading Robbie, what are our list management guys doing?
