Gags can over pay all he likes when he's trading in contracted players, because he wants to get it done to improve the list... but if he's also letting contracted players go for massive unders... we are in for a world of hurt.

maybe it's time we get a new list manager if this happens.

I was more referring to the fact that we might not have the full picture here.

What if it includes a swap of firsts in 23’?

What if he goes to the dons and we are targeting pick 4 (as part of a bigger deal)?

To trade him for a second rounder that is available to us in 12 months would have to indicate that Clark was busted dealing meth or in bed with Ratts Mrs or still wears a nappy and takes a bottle.

It's all the traction it is getting in the media. They get stuff wrong for sure but the fact it is getting so much attention isn't a good sign.

Just sit back and watch, you can ignore the trades this guy has made if you like both trading in and out but it’s Bruce all over again. A contracted player that we put on the table who‘s value far exceeded what we wound up with. They wrote articles on what a steal it was but people still acted as if it didn’t matter because we need blah, blah. Well yes it does matter, he appears to be very poor at his job and we’re about to pay for it.

Gringo has been right so often but his opinions are often uncomfortable so he gets howled down. We promoted the guys who misread the list and made the lousy trades hill, Hannebery and so on.

there was only 5 games difference between Cera and Clark in the year Cera got that high pick in the trade. there isnt much difference in stats.

i wouldnt read too much into B&F results. they are manipulated more than the brownlow.

i'm not saying we will get pick 6, but we are in the vacinity. like we aren't suburbs apart RE a future 2nd rounder. we are 100% in the first round, around the midway mark at a bare minimum.

having said that... i think we agree on the outcome here and our assessment of the list management if it goes through for the reported price.

For what it's worth, I work at a certain childrens hospital and ran a clinic. Building rapport and talking about footy and the parent who is high up in certain places. Suggested there was a significant cultural problem at the saints and that players were reluctant to go there and why many were looking at leaving

Yea and then you see how much we overpaid for hill and then realise he could be that dumb. To me it’s a bunch of guys desperate to make change for the sake of it. I’m not saying change isn’t needed btw. The areas being changed seem so off.

I think we all need to take a chill pill.
The club has been deadly quiet, and to be honest that’s the way these things should be handled - rather than leaks all over the show.

We’re all driving ourselves totally nuts based on rumours and hearsay.

Gaggs played hardball with the Crows on Crouch and would have walked away if necessary, I just can’t believe he’ll give Clark away.
( Well, I have to believe that for my sanity.)

Meantime we’re all going round and round in circles and nobody really has a clue.
