St.Kilda supporters across the footballing world are taking the Bowes and De Goey news very tough today.

A sad, sad day for all. If you would like to chat privately about the trades, please PM me. Stay safe out there.

We might miss out on pick 7 but we could definitely push GC to get a better pick for long.

Saints out- long
Saints in- pick 18

Cats out- pick 18
Cats in- pick 7 and bowes

Gc out- bowes and pick 7
Gc in- long

Geelong are getting Bruhn and Olly Henry who are both high picked kids. GWS will want 18 plus something and Collingwood would probably like it for Henry who looks a potential star and went at pick 17, 2 years ago. Bruhn was pick 12. Goldy are getting zero back off them.

My office is about a 15min walk from Sydney Road. It's like a different world as soon as you get there. Everyone has an imaginary friend walking alongside them and if you make one bad look at any of them you're dead. I only go if I've got a purpose. In and out, no mucking around.
LOL. My tween kids were on Sydney Rd by themselves today. It is safer than Disneyland. PLU are the reason we have ridiculous law and order elections!

I'm not worried about Sydney road, some areas in Collingwood are a bit dicey at times and even Richmond has a few really junky heavy spots.

Well it's a good thing that Geelong can also use future picks to obtain those players.

My trade scenario is more about trying to squeeze the maximum out of gc, demand they must get pick 18 off the cats to trade.

They might have to offer up the pick 5 from Rankine instead. Not our problem.

We can definitely play hardball and there are a lot of different scenarios available for us to gain a high pick.

Heroin junkies though, they're basically just sleepy zombies stumbling around, having a snooze in a lane way every now and then. There's nothing really threatening about those guys.

I dont imagine it is the different views that makes some people not post anymore.
Tends to be the more personal attacks that people make on each other that drives people away from posting.
All people are trying to do is give their own perspective on something or in some cases what they have heard either through media, word of mouth or generally ITK content. Yet they get smashed down for sharing. Dont blame them for keeping it to themselves.
Moorabbin Ghost was a good poster but had a bit of a glass jaw.

Gee, just thinking about the contracts of traded players, what chance does the encumbant have if they're a smaller or interstate side?

If they front end a deal, another club walks along and offers more money, gone.

If they back end a deal, like GC did with Bowes, Geelong can come along add another two years whilst smoothing the contract value out and slipping it into the list and as an added bonus get access to top10 talent for the manuverure.

If a club takes on a contracted player they either need to maintain the status quo and negotiate a contract comes into effect at the end of the existing deal or improve it.

People are worried about how we run, I'm worried that it doesn't matter if the entire game is rigged.
Gold Coast can't be that stupid to give away Bowes and pick 7 for very little, more than likely they will wat Geelongs future first and future second for pick 7. It's a little to much for pick 7 as next years draft is meant to filled with very good talent. The narrative is all Geelongs way because Bowes hasn't nominated a club yet but hopefully the AFL don't sign off on a lopsided trade.

They must look pretty rough then

Haven’t really thought this through so not sure what i think but Rayners name been thrown up as a possibility to obtain picks for the Lions.
What if we could somehow turn Clark into Rayner?
