Not sure about the Bowes one. Doesn’t add up really. Bit like GC’s salary cap. Must be more to it.

I hope we keep our powder dry for the fall out we seem to miss out on. Treloar for example. Or maybe we have something going on behind the scenes.

Or…..and this is a biggie….just take what we have and draft some decent young guys. Pick up a gem in the pre-season draft. Grab a top State League player.

Bit unimaginative, but it just might work out in the long term.

Whilst i completely agree with this he is a needs guy not a star.

We need a second key forward who can backup ruck. He doesnt have to be a star.

Worth a speculator and if he doesnt work out no biggie. King is still gonna get monstered and Roma is still going to do 80% gametime in the ruck. Weideman might mean they both get 20% better.

But his general play is conservative. He doesn’t hit packs hard and doesn’t seem to do a lot of the unfashionable stuff with much intensity.

I don’t want that sort of player in our team. I want a team of goers who play without compromise or need for fanfare. I’m not sure Weideman will ever be that player. It’s what frustrates me about Hill.

Darned if I know why Sharman isn’t playing every week. I like him much more as a player.

There was no certainty at all that he was going there in the first place. Or that he actually wanted to leave the club at all. Just a lot of speculation and supposition.
More than happy if he stays.
