Plenty of depth Imo, let’s see how I go but you’ll be happy with guys at 40 when you look back at it.That Harley Reid kid looked like he'd go pick one this year if he was draftable. And the little forward bloke was not far behind. It looks like it has at least a better front end. There are drafts that just do have more talent for what ever reason but this draft looks okay to me. There looks like a bit of depth up until the 30s.
He can play wing he’s not just a half back.Without thinking too long, and not knowing Haynes salary. You’d have to say ‘bloody oath’ to having a look at it. Too many backmen? Can’t have enough probably.
Keep thinking something is going to drop out of all this. Where by being patient we can step in.

But every other team will always be so much better. Did you not know this??Seems a little early to say not likely to play finals. We haven’t really lost anyone and some of the younger guys could improve quickly and yes I know they may not either but I actually like our midfield if they do improve. It could be so much different to the same same of last year.
If they’re talking to players 6 months out, I very much doubt there’ll be no discussion done on the quiet during the weekend.I believe they can’t.

I hope so too, but at the very least if they come to respect and love him the way we all do, they should want to play for him. And hopefully follow him the way our players did.Lade wasn’t let go either…
Anyway. Proof will be in the pudding.
I just hope this isn’t us building it up because it’s lenny.
A few years ago the King twins were the best to come along in years and guess what we got one and when they were being touted I was dreaming how we could get one. That Harley Reid kid looked like he'd go pick one this year if he was draftable. Sure, I will make sure it happensI would like us to trade for Lewis Melican & Lachie Whitfield, if available.
I would do Clark for 12 or maybe 15 with a bit backJust for interest
GWS currently have picks 3, 12, 15, 19, 44, 61, 63, 79.

People don't realize the talent we have and now with the latest 3 kids we picked up we could well have another 3 standout kids from the draft.
Things are starting to look pretty good , we ass another 2 good kids this year and we will be set for years.
Any other info about what he said please?Gee Noble being nice on Trade Radio about the team.
Interesting about the pick/picks that could come in if we lost an established player?
Different body shape, different everything.I would like Battle to be around that 96kg-think Riewoldt
What do we give up for him?I like this a lot.
Haynes had a pretty down year this year but he’s a bloody good player. We should be able to absorb his salary with the De Goey cash and throw in pick 15 it’s a no brainer.
Get onto it Gags
Rather keep for that return. 12 and 19 for Clark and 32I would do Clark for 12 or maybe 15 with a bit back
Who do you think we would take at 3? Bit of a reach for McKenzie, who definitely won't last until 19.9 and Clark for 3 & 19?
Values Hunter at #7
What would Allan Jeans say? Begged The Pelican to sort St Kilda out on his death bed according to The Pelican himself.Pelchen is still setting the club back. Created a lot of issues.
Very true. It's just that the more later the picks the more speculative it becomes. At least with a top 5 pick there's a better chance we get a gun no matter how much we try and screw him up.The issue with that is you only get those by finish low on the ladder, trading for overs, mortgaging future draft picks or selling one of your best players. None sound very appealing. To me when we have too many picks we have our brains freeze and can't work out who to take. I just want them to nail the picks we do have. Sometimes quality over quantity is a better strategy.
You should have been here on wednesday it was pumping.Isn’t next year’s draft meant to be very strong? A Superdaft as they are called?
Why are wanting to give next year’s picks to improve this year? Yes, it’s a year earlier and we get another year of development into a player. Think the last time we did that was on Oscar Clavarino. That worked!
Then next year’s trade and draft periods come up. Cupboard is bare. I know we gave up our 4th next year, but that one doesn’t matter too much.
The Cordy tsunami was momentous 1You should have been here on wednesday it was pumping.
FFS - we never pitchedFFS - the kid (Bowes) didn't want to come to us
