he could - but being with the Crows, it will be a complete season against menHe could also get that at WWT if he plays League which was on the cards given he played some Reserves this season.
Even better - most of a mens season then against his peers in the best U18 comp in the landNope, He'll play for SA U18's at the Nationals and for the AFL Academy in their games.
Preying we take O’Sullivan and/or Leake if it puts you at restIf we pick o'sullivan or leake with our first pick I'm going to become completely disinterested in the afl. I'm not saying they aren't good players but I'm done with this club ignoring the midfield. It's complete *ing trash. When we come up against good sides like gws we get completely *ing obliterated.
and the happy clappers are like.

It's the exact reason mattymac was done with this club. Enough is enough.

I would imagine, the only way the AFL would tick-off on Welsh playing at the Crows, would be if we have already committed to him under father/sonWow. Didn't see that coming.
Wonder if he wants to get drafted to us or something.
AND .....if not picked by the Crows, Welsh will play for WWT reserves or U18'sNope, He'll play for SA U18's at the Nationals and for the AFL Academy in their games.
Genuine question, why would the AFL have to sign off on something as banal as a kid having a SANFL contract with a SANFL team.I would imagine, the only way the AFL would tick-off on Welsh playing at the Crows, would be if we have already committed to him under father/son
Otherwise, every AFL Club VFL affiliate would have draftees playing for them as well
and you'll continue watching kelly, green, coniglio and calaghan do circle work around us.Preying we take O’Sullivan and/or Leake if it puts you at rest
Because every other AFL Club will want to do the same .....and that would hurt the NAB U18 comp .....plus potentially give AFL Clubs some character insights into player, impacting the draftGenuine question, why would the AFL have to sign off on something as banal as a kid having a SANFL contract with a SANFL team.
VFL sides have U18s play with them. I dont see any difference.Because every other AFL Club will want to do the same .....and that would hurt the NAB U18 comp .....plus potentially give AFL Clubs some character insights into player, impacting the draft
Too complex to summarize in a paragraph
From the upcoming Draft ?VFL sides have U18s play with them. I dont see any difference.
And if you had it your way, we may end up watching out starting midfield being comprised of Hately style role players who 'fill a need'and you'll continue watching kelly, green, coniglio and calaghan do circle work around us.
Wilson will be better than hately lol.And if you had it your way, we may end up watching out starting midfield being comprised of Hately style role players who 'fill a need'
Luke McDonald and Jack Viney set that precedent years ago. There is no chance the AFL could refute that without admitting there are a different set of rules for Victorian clubs.Because every other AFL Club will want to do the same .....and that would hurt the NAB U18 comp .....plus potentially give AFL Clubs some character insights into player, impacting the draft
Too complex to summarize in a paragraph
Finally something I agree with you onWilson will be better than hately lol.
So you'd trade 10 and 20 for o'sullivan instead of getting wilson, another player and goad? Finally something I agree with you on
They get permission for that too and it’s only occasionalVFL sides have U18s play with them. I dont see any difference.
The question you are asking based on the picks in my head is:So you'd trade 10 and 20 for o'sullivan instead of getting wilson, another player and goad?
Have you seen Collingwoods midfield and their ruck wouldn’t be one of the highest paid players at the club. How many games did their ruck play?Where did Collingwood's ruck finish in their B&F?
Soup's not a mealI'm nor a big fan of soup so im good lol.
You eat soup and then get hungry 10 mins later.
More than O'Sullivan/Curtin?Will Dawson will go a fair bit higher than what draft pundits in the main have him IMO.
More upside than any other KPP in this draft IMO and certainly more than Ollie Murphy.
Have you got your talons extended?Preying we take O’Sullivan and/or Leake if it puts you at rest
Have you got your talons extended?![]()
Agreed, also training with Tex every week will be a huge bonus for his development. Learn from one of the best full forwards in the game right now.Best thing about it is him now having full time access to our fitness crew, physios and medicos with his history of back issues.
