I havent looked at the fixture properly, but you would to do your due diligence and check up on double up games etc.

I think Tigers will be ok (ie not win the spoon) and the Cats with their home ground should get enough wins to avoid the spoon.
So how is WC going to improve next year. Sure they had a lot of injuries but the talent pool is pretty shallow there.

NM have a shopping list of top 10 draftees already who should be better again.

Time for a Bearded Clam rant(sorry)

If WC future f1 is up for grabs, we need to grab it straight away as they will be bottom 3 next year. Next years is a midfielders draft and that’s what we are lacking. Unfortunately we won’t be able to get one in this draft, because there are only a few and they are out of our reach.
Sick of reading that we can’t wait any long for an A grade midfielder and that we are neglecting grabbing one. We can use WC first next year to grab one or even trade it down and grab another first. This will give us the best opportunity to finally break our drought and win a flag.

It’s mighty tempting , but Curtin looks elite
Who’s to say Draper doesn’t drop away in his draft year
We simply can’t know. The club just needs to decide if they think it’s a risk worth taking.

It's totally wild that some people still team's progression as linear. It doesnt seem to matter that every year a couple of teams catapult up (and down), you still have people counting out the number of years away a team is from contention like it's a formula.
Catapulting up the ladder and wining the flag are really two different things.

Melbourne probably the last team to do it, admittedly during covid times. Dogs in 2016 thats 7 years ago, but they had the benefit of the first year of the bye, W2 at home and W4 at the G against a non Vic side.

No I don’t

2025 at earliest but I think that’s more a bottom of the 8 scenario that premiership window , so I’ll say 2026

I see next season as a tread water , ie somewhere between 7-12th like this year

Our best and most important player is going to fall away sometime soonish as that’s life when you’re 34 yo
Problem is it’ll drop off as soon as Dawson is out of his prime

He turns 30 in 2027, so we at the very least need to capitalise for that 25-27 period IMO

Part of that includes drafting well tonight
