Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

Caddy is on gettable now! Apparently Ned Reeves is his second cousin. The lad seems very level headed.
He's very polite in front of the camera.

Supremely confident in his interviews however. Not the worst quality.

Question is can he translate this confidence into being more than a tweener at AFL level. He's not a midfielder at the top level either.

Arie's long and accurate kicking was on full display in this game as he racked up 10 rebound 50s as well as a fantastic running goal from well outside 50. He also showed some contested and intercept marking ability which draft watchers have been keen to see more of.

Footy clubs are built on FIGJAMs. Hardwick and Sicily were similar to Caddy in the NAB league, and they've become great team players. It's up to the team to turn "I am so great" into a "We are so great" mindset, and clubs that can't do that go thousands of days without winning a final. As I always say, you back the club until they give you a reason not to.

Edwards continued his late season move up draft boards with a solid outing to help his Sandy Dragons win through to the Talent League grand final. This week his size, strength and speed allowed him to put on an impressive tackling display to go with 21 disposals and a goal.

Reid will be a gun but Walter is potentially that big forward who wins you finals and premierships. it's like comparing Delidio to Roughead (excluding Franklin which is a no brainer) in every retrospective draft 2004 you take Roughie over Deledio
Reid will be more like Petrarca/Martin as a mid/fwd and closer to Hodge as a half-back imo. Much more physical than Deledio.

When has he demonstrably shown that he can play anywhere but the midfield? He hasn't played any other position in the champs.
Last year he played as a winger all year and was projected to go late first round late last year, early this year, he then moved into the midfield in 2023 where his consistent performances raised his ratings, he recently returned from injury and played the preliminary final in the forward pocket as he wasn't 100% fit, but I'm not sure if that's his best position? But he kicked a goal or 2, can't remember how many.
