Same rule applies to this thread as other years, keep it on topic about the kids.
Don’t get bogged down on what other teams might do or where they will finish.

Trade speculation belongs here.

That's also where you can discuss your mock drafts or pick trades.

Any McCabe, Dear or Maginness talk belongs here.

I wonder if pick 1 is still in play.
WCE could get our future first and 4, and with the trades mooted here swap 4 for 6&11, and our F1 for cats 8.
Get themselves Curtain, 8 and 11 for Reid. That could turbocharge the re-build!

It would certainly make a mockery of the voting poll in his thread if we got pick 1

Anyone done the maths on where the leftover points will spit out our next pick in the draft, assuming something in the 10-15 range for McCabe?
Yep, I'm expecting our picks will become approx. 41,44,47,56,57 (live trades may throw this out slightly), which equals 1466pts. Matching at pick 13 (worst case scenario) would cost us 969pts.. I'd expect we'll probably live trade pick 41 for a future asset unless we need it to match a really early bid, this would leave us with a late pick to grab Dear.

I would’ve given the benefit of the doubt with injuries the last 2 seasons. Now they have many holes to plug with retired or aging stars. They will bounce back but not next season.
I tipped them not to get spoon and finish about 10th, not win a premiership lol

I think Curtin with our future first is unlikely as clubs will accept Eagles offer first which could be pick 1. Personally hope we keep future 1st for trading. Get a good FA plus trade F1 for another good player

Melbourne, GWS and Geelong all potential options to trade our F1 to. I suspect Melbourne are an extremely slim chance though.

I'd like us to obviously have a crack at Curtin. But we can't beat WCE's F1, so more realistically I hope we look at trading up for O'Sullivan or Caddy (or Leake, but he's no KPP).

People passionately advocating for Curtin while misspelling his name in the same post :drunk:

Oh I don't know. I could imagine Curtain spoiling a contest and MacGuinness picks it up and handballs to Worple who kicks it into the F50 for Bruest to go for the mark. Umpire calls play on, but fortunately Winguard is there and slots the goal.

How can something be unbelievable and totally believable at the same time. North are an absolute stain on the competition the faster they are removed the better. No-one even cared in the 90s when they were really good. The solution to a 19 team comp seems quite obvious really.
I've got friends who are lovely people and support North.

It's a club that is nearly 100 years old.

I hate these sorts of comments, we dont need another Fotzroy.

They have their issues but come on man.

A showcase for Larke medalist Ryley Sanders, one of the most consistent performers across every level this season.

Will be very good for whoever picks him. Seems like a safe "what you see is what you get" selection.

You have to pay your own way at some stage. North and the Saints are like 40 year olds living at home and their mum still washes their underwear.

Not sure what you mean, but did see this kid play in the U18 grand final and was a class above the rest on the field. Would walk into the starting line up of most teams in year 1. That said he is not the type of player we are desperate for in the position he will play

Was taking the mick. I posted this;

Is it me or does anyone else find it unsettling when "Shifter" refers to the draftees as boys?

And a short time later you posted this:

Will be a 200 game player. Top 6 must be elite if this boy is not in the conversation.
